SAMOSA RECIPE- ALOO MATAR SAMOSA - स्वादिष्ट आलू मटर के समोसे बनाने की विधि II BY VIJAYALAKSHMI - Duration: 9:16.Hi this is vijaya & welcome to vijaya's recipes.
Today we'll make the recipe of Samosa
Its making process is lengthy but the final product is very tasty.
So let's make Samosa
For making Samosa we have taken 6 potatoes boiled till 6 whistles and peeled
1 Cup Green Peas, 1/2 Cup Coriander Leaves
3 Finely Chopped Green Chillies
1 tsp Red Chilli Powder, 1 tsp Dry Mango Powder, 1 tsp Chaat Masala, 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
1 tsp Ginger paste
1 tsp Coriander-Cumin Seeds Powder
1 tsp Garam Masala, Salt to taste, 10-12 pieces of cashew nuts
All these ingredients are used for stuffing
For making dough we've taken 2 Cup All Purpose Flour
1 tsp Salt, 1/2 tsp Carom Seeds, 3 tbsp Clarified Butter
Let's make Samosa
Transferring all purpose flour into a big bowl for making dough
Adding Salt
Carom Seeds
Mix it well
Adding 3 tbsp Clarified butter
Mix it well
Kneading the dough with hand
Adding little amount of water and we'll knead the stiff dough
Using Chilled or Ice cold water
We've kneaded the stiff dough
Let it rest for 20 mins
Cover it
Mashing the boiled potatoes
We've turn on the flame and adding 3 tbsp Oil in the pan.
Oil is heat up adding cumin seeds
Ginger paste
Mix it well
Green peas
Green chillies
Peas are fried now adding mashed potatoes
Mix it well
Adding Red chilli powder
Coriander - cumin powder
Garam Masala
Dry Mango Powder
Chaat Masala
Salt
Coriander leaves
Cashew nuts (optional)
Mix it well
We have fried the stuffing for 5 mins
Turn off the flame and let the stuffing cool down
After that we'll prepare Samosa
After 20 mins dough of Samosa is ready
We''ll knead it once again
Our stuffing is cool down & we have transfer it into a bowl
So let's make Samosa
We'll make small balls of the dough
Grease the rolling pin with some oil
Flatten the ball
Now we'll cut it into the half
We'll fold the corner
And apply water on one side
Cover it with another end and press it here
Now we'll fill the stuffing in this cone
Applying water on the another side too
Fold it from the opposite side
And close it
Similarly we'll prepare all other samosas
Fold the end, apply water
Filling the stuffing with cone
Applying water on the other side too
And fold it
Now we'll close the samosas
this way we'll fill the stuffing in all the samosas and then we'll deep fry them.
We've stuff all the samosas with filling and dried them for 20 mins
Now we'll deep fry them
Oil is heat up in the pan & we'll check the heat by frying the small dough ball.
Its fried, it means the oil is hot and we'll deep fry all the samosas
We''ll deep fry the samosas on medium flame for 10 mins
Later-on will higher the flame and will fry it for another 5 mins for crispy outer covering.
We've fried the samosas for complete 15 mins.
Initially they were fried on low flame for 10 mins
Later-on we've fried them on high flame for 5 mins to get crispy outer covering
Samosas are ready, we'll serve them in the plate
Our Samosas are ready we'll serve them with Green Chutney and Tomato Sauce.
