Masters Swimming - Hello Dippers #57 - Duration: 7:27.- Hello Dippers ! Today we will talk about the Masters
in Swimming. - The Masters Swimming ? It's become
a martial art? - No, this is just an elegant way
called veterans! That is the swimmers over 25 years, because in swimming,
it is quite young veteran! - Bah, I am then! Because I
36. have it rejuvenates me not ... - In fact, you could enter the category
C4 elsewhere. - The C4 category? The License 4 you mean?
The idea of Swimming Masters was born a American former swimmer, June Krauser,
who spent forty, had a entrenu good level of swimming before. They are
the late 1960s and early 1970s it launched the idea of swimming competition
Adult in the image of the beginning to be increasingly in Athletics.
Then National Championships Masters day saw the US quickly
followed by the holding of the World Championships Swimming Masters in 1978 in Toronto
Canada with 6 years later in 1984 the second publishing holding on to New ChristChurch
Zealand. If these first two editions were not officially proposed by
Fina, this will be the case in 1986 when World Masters in Tokyo. From there
Championships World Swimming Masters will take place every two years. Since 2015,
they are now organized in the same city as a Senior Championships
weeks after these. In France, there existed even
National championship until 1987. Without surprise, swimmers tricolor masters
will bring no medals ds Worldwide 1986 or the first European Championships
in 1987 in Blackpool, England.
- But what did the French senior in the 80s rather than in
pools?!? - J'me take good conk takes a shot!
- ouaih is c'la ouaih!
The first open championship of France masters (individual and relay) was organized
in 1987 in Vichy. A championship of France of open water swimming occurring also
summer. And it is logical that soon the World Championships 1988 in Brisbane (Australia)
we saw the first landing of French charms. Among the medalists: the Mulhouse,
Yvette Kaplan Bader. The first titles dating, them, the World Championships in Rio de Janeiro,
organized in 1990. In diving, Nice Romuald Borgo is a regular competitor
international masters competitions. It was he who removed the first medal
tricolor at Euro Stockholm (Sweden) in 2005.
Note that there is also swimming side synchronized championship of France
masters of this discipline more recently. The Aix Céline Lobello clinched
French first medal in the specialty (Money at Euro Cadiz in 2009) before
that the Bordeaux Anne obtains Spoiler a first world title in 2011.
The Masters Championships in France are victims Where, for their success in 2007 editions
Angers, more than 2700 participants it presented. Following this event, the
qualifying time will be introduced for limit the numbers. They made soon
provided that harden, raising considerably the level of performance. In words, the Federation
French estimates that 1,500 swimmers engaged winter and summer 1000 are figures
towards which to strive. For this, she is based on rigorous chronometric grids.
At the age categories for competitions, it makes 5 in 5 years.
C1 for people 25 to 30 years for example, C2 for 30-35 years and thus
right now. And it is up to the C ... Well, until all the swimmers
Older enough to swim, it can climb ... Enough High! In France alone, we see swimmers
and swimmers over 90 years to participate Masters National Championships!
Worldwide, among older, it retains ...
- The Japonnaise Mieko Nagaoka, 103 years old, holder 15 world records
- Canadian Jaring Timmerman, died at the age of 105 in 2014 leaving behind
her 4 world records in the category of 100-104, he also inaugurated the category
of 105-109 years! He started swimming at Masters at the age of 78 years and beaten
national records in each category he held.
- The Brazilian Nora Ronai who at the age 90 years established the first world record
its category 200m Butterfly in 8 min 52.
- One can also quote the Briton John Harrison, world record 50m NL
the 100-104 age group in 1min 29sec.
- Oh, those old! Better to see them as it in the pool in a house
retired wait for death! - Uh ... For once you do not say
some stupid thing, it is worth mentioning!
If the French international ancients long shunned the masters trials,
foreign champions have left an imprint unwavering in the shelves of discipline
Martina Moravcova Rowdy Gaines, Mark Foster, Stefan Nystrand, Shane Gould and Gary Hall
Jr. have at one time or another swam with the Masters. The great foreign champions
consider more often competitions masters as opportunities to test themselves,
without pressure, in intermediate competitions carefully placed in their calendar.
Among the known Masters: - June Krauser, the Mother of the Masters Swimming
already mentioned at the beginning of this episode, which could well have participate in 1944 Olympics
if they had occurred. She took revenge later, as from the age of 45 years
and up to 80 years in 2006 she recorded no less than 154 national records and
especially 73 world records! - Dara Torres who won a few titles
C3 before realizing she had level to qualify for the Olympics in Beijing
in 2008 and to his surprise hook Olympic silver medal in the 50m NL!
- Nicolas Granger Multiple world record holder
and elected Lifeguard 2012, Nicolas Granger, at 48, Michael
Phelps his age group! A suite logic to it three times champion swimmer
France in 1984 and 1985 with the seniors and recently inducted into the Masters Swimming
Hall of Fame for all its titles won Masters in 20 years.
There is also one more thing that I have not mentioned on the Masters ...
These are the relay categories! We can course mix indifferently
age categories. It then determines the category of a team based on
the sum of the ages of the swimmers constituent. Both say they found very easily
teams centuries old ... Like for example the US relay team
4x50m NL consists of Boyd Campbell (93 years) Martin Rutter (91 years), Jim Scherbarth (80
years) and Harold Hoffmann (96 years) who formed the first team category
360 and older in 2003. Long live this relays and all masters swimmers

New Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Review - Stainless AP ROO Watches! - Duration: 5:53.This is Watch Your Style.
My name is Eric.
Today I'm gonna be reviewing the new version of the AP Royal Oak Offshore.
[intro music]
So when AP released these models, the first thing I thought was, it looks the same.
Of course it looks the same because the AP Offshore is an iconic watch and there's not
really much to change.
But as you look closer and closer, there are subtle things that you will notice that change
everything on this watch.
Number one will be that the pushers and the crown are ceramic and I feel that that is
a major upgrade, because the older version just had those rubber buttons that they kind
of overall just went bad . Depending on how your skin reacted to the rubber, sometimes
they got really soft and even sometimes they dried out.
So that was to me a major advancement that needed to be done.
I like the look of the rubber buttons and the crown, but the durability just wasn't
there.
If you got some of these savages that would tighten the crown over and over with the finger,
freaking crown would end up looking round over a couple of years or real minimal because
it's worn out.
So that was the first thing that I liked with this new series.
A couple of other little things you don't notice is that they chanced the buckle mechanism.
Now, a lot of guys come and tell me they don't like that, but that's because they haven't
worn it.
The original AP deployant clasp by design and look is really cool.
When you wear one, it's not so cool.
I think it's a bit uncomfortable, honestly.
I think they wanted that design.
They wanted to keep that trend going with the AP on the buckle on the deployant clasp,
but it just doesn't work for me.
When you try on one of these new style buckles, this is where it's at.
It's a narrower version than the diver, so it's not so fat looking, and I think they
really hit right on this one.
When you put this strap on, it feels correct.
I get it.
It doesn't give me the luxury feel of a deployant clasp, but this is a sports model.
You want a deployant clasp?
Get a Royal Oak.
You understand what I mean?
That's another thing you're gonna notice right off the back with this watch.
Some of the other features also include that they finally made a sapphire, clear caseback
and it's about time, because all of these Royal Oak Offshores, the themed editions,
have some really nice movements and they weren't showing it off and I feel like people needed
that.
So now besides all these things I'm saying, now we got clear case back, which adds a lot
because we're able to see a little bit of what we're paying for.
You don't have to wait till your watch gets opened up by somebody or a watchmaker to finally
see what you've bought.
As far as the crown guards go, there's a couple of little minimal changes that they made.
They're mode aesthetic than functional and the dials are pretty much the same theme,
with the waffle design, except that they kind of made...they changed up the hands a little
bit and the numbers a bit thinner.
Other than that, the dimensions are exactly the same on the watches, besides the colors.
The navy is no longer really the navy, which had the white background with the blue sub-dials.
Now the navy is just a straight up all navy.
And I kind of like this version, my favorite, you know?
Happens to be this is probably the only one that comes from AP with the rubber strap.
Then you got this one, which people said replaced the Panda.
No more Panda!
This is called the Vampire now.
I don't know where they come up with these names.
I just follow the names that people call them.
This is very nice too by the way.
You also have the Elephant, which is gray on gray.
This one tends to be probably my favorite one.
I just feel like it goes with everything.
The Safari, you know, I'm not really that happy with the new Safari dial, man.
I kind of like the original cream color of the first variation.
I think it's still nice because I'm an AP fan, but I just think it's the one that I
least like.
I don't know.
I don't know how I feel yet about it.
I guess the ideal scenario would be to just have all of them.
[laughing]
You know?
I guess if I had to choose one from the whole new lineup, it would probably be the Elephant.
And I'm keeping this review on just the stainless Offshore models.
I've already done a video in the past on the rose gold ones, but I would say the Elephant
is my favorite one just because I like the gray on gray.
I thought it was something different and something fresh.
Retail price stayed the same at $26,000.
You can expect to pay for one of these watches nowadays in the market, you can easily pay
from retail to as low as $19,500 for an unworn one.
Pre-owned ones are right now in the market from $18,000 to $17,500.
That's kind of where they are right now.
It's a fairly new model, so it's gonna be a while before they drop down into the mid
teens, so right now that's where we're at.
As far as the Watch Game goes, any time you have an AP on, you're obviously somebody that
knows about watches, so you're obviously standing strong in the Watch Game.
If you like this video, please like and share.

Lush How It's Made: Pink Pumpkin Bubble Bar - Duration: 1:23.(electronic music)
- Hey, I'm Taylor.
Today on How It's Made we're gonna be making
Pink Pumpkin Bubble Bar.
Scout's gonna be compounding.
Pink Pumpkin is a new limited edition
Halloween product, and it's gonna turn
your bathwater into a bewitching, twinkling love potion.
So the first step is gonna be mixing our colors
with our blend of essential oils, which is
a combination of bergamot oil, geranium oil,
and jasmine absolute.
So once our oils and colors are blended, we're gonna
add that to our surfactant, which is what makes
our bubble bars bubbly.
Once we have that together, we'll add another
surfactant and a blend of baking soda,
cream of tartar, and corn starch.
Once that's mixed, we're gonna pass it on
to our production assistants.
They're gonna shape the pieces, roll them in glitter,
and then add a cinnamon stick.
And that's how you make Pink Pumpkin Bubble Bar.
Thanks for watching.
If this is your first time seeing one of our
How It's Mades, check out another video here,
and if you have an idea for another product
you'd like to see, leave a comment below.
Have a good one.

He That Dwelleth in the Secret Place of the Most High Shall Abide under the Shadow of the Almighty - Duration: 3:22.Psalm 91. King James Version.
He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.
Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.
Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;
There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.
Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.
He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.
With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.

7 Uranium One Facts Every American Should Know. | Top Stories Today - Duration: 3:53.7 Uranium One Facts Every American Should Know.
Hillary Clinton and the Obama administration find themselves at the center of an explosive
scandal involving the transfer of 20 percent of all U.S. uranium to Russia via the sale
of the Uranium One company, just as nine foreign investors in the deal funneled $145 million
to the Clinton Foundation to help grease the wheels.
Here are the seven facts about the Uranium One deal you need to know:
No. 1: Peter Schweizer Broke the Uranium One Scandal.
Government Accountability Institute (GAI) President and Breitbart News Senior Editor-at-Large
Peter Schweizer broke the Uranium One scandal in his book Clinton Cash: The Untold Story
of How and Why Foreign Governments and Businesses Helped Make Bill and Hillary Rich.
In the book, he reported that Clinton's State Department, along with other federal
agencies, approved the transfer of 20 percent of all U.S. uranium to Russia and that nine
foreign investors in the deal gave $145 million to Hillary and Bill Clinton's personal charity,
the Clinton Foundation.
No 2: The New York Times Confirmed the Scandal in 2015.
The New York Times confirmed Schweizer's Uranium One revelations in a 4,000-word front-page
story by a Pulitzer Prize-winning investigative reporter.
It detailed how the Russian energy giant Rosatom had taken over the Canadian firm with three
separate purchases between 2009 and 2013, largely coinciding with Hillary Clinton's
time as secretary of state.
No 3: The FBI Uncovered Evidence that Russian Money Was Funneled to the Clinton Foundation.
The Hill reported last week that ahead of the deal, the FBI had uncovered "substantial
evidence that Russian nuclear industry officials were engaged in bribery, kickbacks, extortion
and money laundering" to expand Russia's nuclear footprint in the U.S. as early as
2009.
The agency also found that Russian nuclear officials had routed millions of dollars to
the U.S. to benefit the Clinton Foundation.
The Justice Department would sit on the evidence for four years before looking to prosecute,
by which time the deal had been approved.
No 4: Congress Is Now Investigating.
The Senate Judiciary Committee has launched a probe into the scandal and has sent requests
for more information to 10 federal agencies involved in the approval of the partial sale
of Uranium One, asking what they knew about the FBI investigation and when.
No 5: Bill Clinton Was Paid $500,000 for a Speech in Moscow.
Bill Clinton bagged a $500,000 speech in Moscow paid for by a Kremlin-backed bank shortly,
after Russia announced its intention to take a majority stake in the company.
According to the Times, Clinton traveled to Moscow in June 2010, the same month Rosatom
struck its deal for its majority stake in Uranium One.
No 6: The Clinton Foundation Took Big Bucks from Uranium Investors.
According to theTimes, The Clinton Foundation received $2.35 million in donations from Ian
Telfer, a mining investor who was also the chairman of Uranium One when Rosatom acquired
it.
It also received $31.3 million and a pledge for $100 million more from Frank Giustra,
the Canadian mining financier whose company merged with Uranium One.
No 7: Senate Republicans Want an FBI Gag Order Lifted.
Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-IA) has called for the Justice Department to lift
the gag order on the FBI's whistleblower, indicating that he may have more explosive
revelations related to the case and on what the Clintons and the Obama administration
knew about the case and when they knew it.
What do you think about this?
