People hear it when it comes
Even those that have problems hearing can hear it coming
And those that can't see so well, they think it's easy to see ...
The Blue Lightning
My name is Evald Jastad.
I am a taxi driver in Odda.
And I drive a Ford Focus RS
The world's first RS model as a taxi
Most people know who I am
My customers call my taxi,
"Blue Lightning"
I have been a fan of rallycross since I was a kid.
Any taxis available?
I've got it.
Thank you.
A lot of people need a taxi.
The public transport system cannot always help you
especially older folk for example.
We have one customer.
She is 96-years-old
and loves to ride in the car.
Yes, Blue Lightning is the best.
I like riding in it.
It always works out alright.
Of course. That's true.
I thought about going to the highway to hitchhike.
No.
But then you saved me.
She really enjoys the drive.
I help her with her groceries.
Sometimes I stop by to check on her.
She's a really good customer.
A lot of houses
are situated along the Fjords next to narrow roads.
So my RS is perfect to drive in this environment.
It's a very fast car,
it does 0 to 100 in 4.7 seconds
Hello.
Hello!
This is the car here?
I like it!
Yeah this is nifty.
Wow.
Well, would you look at this.
This is awesome!
I've never ridden in a car like this before.
You don't see this kind of thing in Canada.
Yeah, it's pretty cool.
Tourist come from all around the world to see Odda.
I don't know where to look at
the car, the mountains or the sheep.
My driving style is balanced and calm
but no one can deny me accelerating quickly to the speed limit.
So, is this like a racing car?
Yeah.
How fast can you go?
[ Laughter ]
Oh my ...
[ Laughter ]
Woo Hooo!
That was a great ride man.
I like to meet people from all over the world
and show them my hometown in the Focus RS.
Selfie!
I have a girlfriend
and two kids,
a 3.5 year old boy and a daughter.
We live outside Odda
Working with the RS taxi is a lot of work
But I do it for my family.
They're who I live for,
they give me purpose
I do this all for my family,
they mean everything to me.
My first customer of the day is my son.
I drive him to kindergarten.
We always enjoy ourselves in the Focus.
He's always asking me to give it gas.
One ... two ... three!
Give it gas
Give it gas
Give it gas
Give it gas
Give it gas
Give it gas
Give it gas!!
It's a good life.
I live in a beautiful part of the world
and I drive a Focus RS
It's fantastic.

How to Set Up A Dropshipping Business in 7 Easy Steps - Duration: 6:30.
How to set up a drop shipping business in 7 easy steps
A drop shipping business is an easy way to make money online with minimal investment
from you.
By using a drop shipper you act as a middleman, reselling another companies products.
This means that you don't need to keep any products in stock and only purchase a product
once you've sold it.
With the drop shipping method, you list a product for sale.
once someone buys it you contact the supplier place your order and have it sent directly
to your customer.
It couldn't be easier.
can avoid any investment in stock and you don't buy any products until a customer has
made a purchase from you.
The following tips will guide you through this process so you can start selling online
today and reap the benefits of drop shipping.
Step 1 What should I sell?
The first step is to decide what products you want to sell.
Of course, it's always easier to sell a product you're familiar with but you must make sure
there is enough demand as well.
Have a look online and see what products are selling well in your country or city.
Is there a local demand for some goods that aren't being met, for example, unlocked cheap
phones or media players.
An easy way to check demand is to visit eBay, Do an advanced search on the product you want
to sell.
Sort by price with the highest first and select completed listings only, now you can see what
the best selling item was.
You can also do a similar search on Amazon.
You should note the quantity sold as well as prices.
Be sure to check out any competition as well, and make sure the products you offer will
be a better quality and better value for money.
Step 2 Where to source products?
Once you have deiced what product you want to sell you need to research drop ship companies.
These will be your suppliers.
Check their product range and prices, check they can ship to your country easily and how
long items take to arrive.
See if they have any discounts or reward programs for frequent customers.
Step 3 Where to sell products?
Before you can start selling online you will need a find a platform to sell on.
Perhaps the simplest way to sell online is to use one of the online sales sites such
as eBay or Etsy.
This is because they already have an audience that you can easily tap into.
Alternatively, you could list products for sale on Facebook or other social media sites
and save listing fees.
If you're active online and part of seller communities then this is a terrific way to
sell.
If you have a little bit of money you could set up your own online web store with a service
like Shopify or Magento.
These platforms make it easy to setup and manage your own web store and are fairly simple
to use with online documentation to help you through each step.
They usually have a free trial so you can test them out before you commit to buy.
Step 4 Setting up my seller platform?
After you have your seller account on eBay or you've set up your store you need to list
the products you have for sale.
Remember on eBay there will be a listing fee but check to see if you can take advantage
of free listing deals.
If you set up your own website with something like eBay, Magento or Shopify you can check
to see if your supplier has an API.
You may even be able to find a plug-in for some eShop sites OpenCart, Magento, and WooCommerce.
http://eroute.eu/integrate-b2b-supplier-distributor-wholesale/chinavasion/
An API is an Application Programming Interface, It lets two systems talk to each other automatically.
An API allows you to use a private data feed to automatically update your site with the
information from another page.
This means that when your supplier adds new products to their store they can be automatically
populated into your online store as well.
Setting up an API can be a little complicated, as unlike apps or a plug-in the API is just
a set of shared parameters.
In order to make use of it, you need to write the code to request the information that your
site will require so it may be necessary to hire a programmer to help you with this.
This communication will be set up with Query calls (these ask for information) and Action
calls (that provide information).
So in order to list the categories, you would use the getCategory query, and for product
details, you would use getProductlist.
To create an order your API code would issue the creatOrder action call.
If you want to use Chinavasion's API and aren't skilled in programming then you could easily
find a freelancer to help you for a small fee.
Another option is to search for an API app such as http://mydataprovider.com/chinavasion.
If you set up your drop shipping web site in Word press then or http://www.wpallimport.com/
is another option.
These sites have written the API code needed to updated sales sites and make this available
to purchase.
Step 5 Promotion Once the Items are listed on your account
or website you need to wait for the orders to come in.
This is a good time to start promoting the products you're selling.
You can post messages on social media, join relevant forums or spend money on ads to persuade
more customers to buy from you.
Understanding your market and selling locally brings a big advantage as you can change your
product range to meet local goods need and demands.
Step 6 Placing orders When you receive an order you will need to
confirm receipt of payment and then place your own order with your supplier.
You should have email alerts in place to inform you each time a sale is made so you can ensure
the products are dispatched without delay.
Of course, if you are using an API then a lot of this can be done for you but it's still
wise to manual check payments on regular bases.
Step 7 Import Tax Many countries have some form of import Tax.
This is to prevent foreign companies from flooding the market with cheap alternatives.
Importing a large order of goods such as stock for a store would typically be subject to
the payment of these taxes.
However, most countries allow for the importing of a small number of items, such as samples
or gifts under a set value.
By drop shipping direct to the end buyer you and the customer are likely to avoid these
taxes.
That is because most orders will be under the threshold that requires any import or
customs tax.

Comparing Yourself to Other Maids - Who Wins? - Duration: 5:57.
How do you compete with other house cleaners?
That's an excellent question and we're going to talk about that today.
Hi there, I'm Angela Brown, and this is Ask a House Cleaner.
This is a show where you get to ask a house cleaning question,
and I get to help you find an answer.
Now, today's show is brought to us by HouseCleaning360.com
It's that time of year where we're all cooped up inside the house, and we're trying to stay
warm, it's a perfect time to clean out all your cupboards, and all your closets, and
your toy boxes, and all the things that you've been putting off during the nice summer months
when you want to be outside.
If you're not sure how to go about that process, you may want to consider hiring a professional
organizer, who can come in your house and help you through the process of getting rid
of the clutter, and the stuff that you no longer need, use, or want, and help you find
a place for the stuff that you do want to keep.
You can find a professional organizer at HouseCleaning360.com
Now, if you're a professional organizer, and you don't have your business listed there,
hurry on over and get yourself a listing so we can send a business your way.
On to today's show, which is a question from a woman who wants to know this.
Speaker 2: I Angela, I have a question for you.
I have friends who cleans like me, but they always tell me they do five, six houses a
day, I can barely do three houses, how can that is possible?
Angela Brown: Okay, so you are wanting to, if I understand correctly, you're wanting
to compete with other house cleaners.
All right that's not going to happen.
First and foremost what you need to realize is that you are your own business.
And you work at your own pace, and you earn your own money, and you pay your own bills.
For you to try to compete with another house cleaner, or another series of house cleaners
who have a different business model then you, it's going to be difficult, because we don't
know exactly what they're doing, and we don't know the ins and outs
of the houses that they're cleaning.
Now, I know it's easy to say, "Well they're cleaning five houses, and I'm only cleaning
three, what am I doing wrong?"
You're probably not doing anything wrong at all.
If you're cleaning three houses in a day, you're doing something right,
that is something awesome.
Okay, now first and foremost, you have to understand that a lot of house cleaners just
like everyone else, sometimes stretch the stories just a little bit.
If it's a single house cleaner, and they're cleaning five houses in a day, really?
Really?
Because if you clean houses, and you're working from sun-up till sun-down, and you're only
doing three houses, you kind of know, that might be a little bit of a fib.
All right, now they might have a team.
If there are two or three people, it is possible that they could do five houses
in the course of a day.
Maybe they were skipping some information that they were sharing with you.
Another thing we have to consider is not all houses are equal, right?
I live in a neighborhood where houses range from about 1600 square feet, all the way up
to 8800 square feet.
At the beginning of the neighborhood, there are these little ranch style homes, and then
as you go back to the back of the neighborhood, the houses get bigger, and bigger, and bigger,
and they have basements to them, and they're just much, much larger homes.
It's the same neighborhood.
Even if they're cleaning houses nearby to you, and the houses are kind of the same,
houses are hugely different even in the same neighborhood, so are they cleaning five houses
that are 1600 square feet, or are they cleaning five houses that are 8800 square feet?
Because you and I can both do the math on that, and go like, "Hmm, I don't think so."
Right?
Then it depends on what are the customers having them do when they're inside the house?
For example, we had a customer, and all they wanted us to do was to sweep and mop the floors,
that's it.
They had lots of hardwood, and they vacuumed all their own carpets, and they cleaned the
rest of their house, and they did the bathrooms,
and they did everything else, except sweeping and mopping.
To go to that house, and only do the sweeping and mopping, it would be irresponsible to
say we cleaned their whole house during a certain period of time, when really all we
did was sweep and mop the floors.
If you're comparing yourself with other house cleaners, which I recommend you not doing,
just don't do that, if you are the business owner, and you have other house cleaners that
are under your care, you can compare them, because you've trained them the same way.
You're using the same supplies, you're using the same system, you have the same customers,
and you can take a person from here to this house, and then a person from here to this
house, and they can clean the same area, and then you can compare the times.
So if somebody's doing five houses in the course of a day, and you're only able to do
three, chances are the houses they're cleaning are in better condition, or they are cleaner,
or they are better maintained, or it's more of a regular cleaning than what you're doing.
I'm not saying it's impossible to do five houses in a day, but it sounds like we're
missing a lot of information there.
First and foremost, don't compare yourself with other house cleaners, because that will
make you crazy.
Then when they tell you how much money they're making, that will also make you crazy, because
like I said, sometimes there's a tendency to stretch things a little bit.
There's no need to compare yourself with anyone else, you're your own business owner, and
like I said, you have your own rules, and your own systems, and your own way of doing
things, and you earn your own money, and you pay your own bills.
It's easy to get caught up in all the hype of what other people are doing, but don't
do that, just say, "Hey, keep your nose to the grindstone, this is my business, I'm doing
the best I can.
I'm making a good living for myself.
That's all that matters."
Don't compare, don't, it will make you crazy, I'm not kidding you.
All righty, that's my two cents for today.
Until we meet again,
leave the world a cleaner place then when you found it.

SynchroLife / SynchroCoin Pitch at "THE COIN" - Shibuya, Tokyo - January 20, 2018 - Duration: 9:55.
Hello everyone, my name is Tomochika Kamiya.
I am the founder and CEO of SynchroLife.
SynchroLife is a restaurant discovery service that uses artificial intelligence.
We are developing a service that uses A.I. to learn each user's personal tastes to customize their search results
and recommendations to help them find the best restaurants as quickly as possible.
Last year we began a project to also develop token rewards for reviewers/users in the platform
and held an ICO. We are currently continuing to develop and implement that project.
Our team includes...
Myself, the CEO, with 10 years of Online-to-Offline (O2O) marketing experience with restaurants
I have worked with over 1400 restaurants to help them implement tools for customer relationship management and digital marketing since the pre-smartphone era.
Our CTO, Hiroshi Mita, did robot research while attending university in the United States and
he has worked on over 50 released mobile apps.
He is currently our lead developer, also in charge of our smart contract development.
We have a very international team and
run the company from our company in Japan, GINKAN Ltd., and our
international and Asian hub company, SynchroLife Limited.
We believe that blockchain technology is bringing innovation to all kinds of digital assets on a worldwide scale.
New token economies are being born as data and value of all varieties can now easily be saved and traded.
So what kind of things should be tokenized?
I believe that it is
Hidden value
that should be tokenized.
Things that have value but have up until now have been hard to clearly define or hard to pin a price to...
I believe it is this kind of value that should be tokenized.
That can include all kinds of things, such as; work, space, time, possessions...
So what does SynchroLife tokenize?
SynchroLife tokenizes the work and content that amateur restaurant reviewers do.
In restaurant discovery services, or any social media service,
Users are often what provide the content that grows the platform. However, up until now
centralized companies have taken all the benefit from that growth.
In recent years "blogger" and "Youtuber" have become serious side jobs and even careers for people around the world
but reviewing restaurants and sharing food photos is still not at that level.
Restaurant discovery services often build their businesses off of advertising money,
while users and restaurants struggle to sort through fake reviews
And all of this just seemed wrong to me. That is how the SynchroCoin was born.
We want to share the future value of our platform
with the reviewers (users) who make that success possible.
I will go into more detail later in the presentation but
SynchroLife is building a token economy connecting users, restaurants, and
the SynchroLife platform, together as one.
Let me introduce the current version of SynchroLife.
SynchroLife is using A.I. to help users find the best restaurants for their tastes
and in the future will be rewarding users with token rewards to create a new economy.
So why was SynchroLife created? What's wrong with current restaurant search?
I went to a restaurant scored as "3.8" on one of Japan's most famous restaurant discovery sites.
By their standards, it should have been amazing. But it was horrible.
I ended up there because I was lazy. I was too lazy to take the time to really research a good restaurant.
Normally I would read over user reviews and look through photos,
but that day I just looked at the 3.8 score and trusted it.
But that brought up a bigger question in my mind.
Why does finding a good restaurant have to be work?
SynchroLife was made so that you can find good restaurants even when you're feeling lazy. We believe it shoudn't be work.
Current restaurant search and discovery services have a variety of issues but
mainly there's too much information and it takes too much time to pick a restaurant.
Even if there are rankings or average scores, we find ourselves questioning if it's paid promotion and there's a lot of distrust for reviews both good and bad.
So how can we resolve this?
We will solve it with A.I. and blockchain technology.
We believe that A.I. should be left to do all the annoying and time consuming work.
So what exactly does the A.I. do?
If you look at SynchroLife, you'll see it looks a lot like an "Instagram" for food.
SynchroLife's A.I. looks at each user's actions within the app, and uses that data
to learn their preferences through machine learning.
Restaurants users pin for later, how long they look at a review or restaurant page, what they search,
similarities to other users, all of these things and more can be used to start
learning what that user likes. Then when that user actually searches for restaurants,
the app can give them personalized search results, narrowing through thousands of restaurants to just 20 best ones for them.
Everyone's search results and recommendations are different, depending on their preferences.
This A.I. is used in various parts of the service, especially the search and daily recommendation features.
Users can just choose a restaurant based on their feelings
and it's guaranteed to be good.
We will build a trustworthy review database, with peer reviewed posts stored on the blockchain.
So we can never edit or change posts that users make.
Each restaurant's reviews will be stored
decentralized and not managed or controlled by us.
We believe this is the way it should be.
Our currently released version of SynchroLife
is avaliable for use in 155 countries, focused in Asia.
It is also avaliable in four languages. In the past two years our users have posted over 160,000 restaurant reviews.
And over 380,000 photos of those restaurants.
Our target userbase is
both users who are have a high interest in food and dining out, and also
the cryptocurrency community and cryptocurrency users.
We are building a token economy by
bringing blockchain technology into a restaurant discovery platform.
To start, we created the SynchroCoin (SYC) token and releasing it first during the ICO
creating the basic start value.
In the near future, the SynchroCoin will be brought into the service and move between
the users, restaurants, and platform. We held our ICO in September and October of 2017.
We decided to do an ICO to help assign value to the token,
start building a community, and to raise funds for development.
During the ICO we saw new users register for SynchroLife from over 66 countries
and new restaurant reviews were added in over 40 countries.
It was a very exciting time for us, and we were happy to see
support from all over the world. Some supporters made fun art in support, like this pizza box,
and we were able to learn a lot from both positive comments and from criticism
during the ICO.
Thanks to the ICO we were able to start reaching out to a new community of users, the cryptocurrency community,
bringing a new community to SynchroLife.
In the remaining time I will be introducing our business model,
but you can find the details on our official website and white paper (https://synchrolife.org).
First: How to earn SynchroCoin tokens.
There are three main ways to earn SynchroCoin tokens.
First, by contributing to the platform by reviewing restaurants, adding restaurants,
updating restaurant information, translating restaurant information, and providing other content.
Second, by receiving some ad revenue from restaurants you have reviewed or added. And third, by inviting new participating restaurants.
You can then use SynchroCoin tokens in a variety of ways, mainly these four. Now to describe our O2O model
we will be connecting restaurants and users together. Restaurant coupons and rewards will be sold in a marketplace in SynchroLife
where users can buy the rewards with SynchroCoin tokens. 1 SynchroCoin will be set at a minimum of 1 dollar in the marketplace.
That is the basics of our token economy.
It looks like we are out of time today so I will skip our revenue model, but please see our website and white paper for more information.
