To send a recorded message to any contact in the WhatsApp requires you to hold the mic

button for recording.

But, now, it is possible to lock the recording and you can record for longer duration also

without continuously holding that mic button.

So, it is a very small change but is very useful for some people.

So, you can easily manage your WhatsApp storage by going to the settings, Data and Storage

usage and after scrolling, you will see Storage Usage, tap on that and you will see all your

contacts and groups in the decreasing order of shared data.

Now, you can tap on any contact and you will see all the details of the data shared with

them.

From here, you can delete all the messages, images, or videos, etc. shared with that particular

contact only.

So, when your storage gets full, you can use this trick to easily manage your WhatsApp data.

This one is the latest feature by Whatsapp which lets you play Youtube videos directly

on the chat screen.

It was a good day Monday for investors in Korea's benchmark stock index, the KOSPI.

The KOSPI closed at just over 25-98,... up 9-tenths of a percent.

It was the third record close in a row.

Earlier in the session it broke through the 26-hundred mark for the first time, but later

retreated a few points.

Experts attribute those gains to strength on Wall Street last week, also foreign investors'

net buying of local stocks.

As for Korea's junior stock index,... tech-heavy KOSDAQ -- it rose more than 1-and-a-half percent

to close at 927.

Ruling party, government, Blue House vow all out efforts for successful Olympics - Duration: 2:54.

The country's ruling party, government and presidential office held their first policy

coordination meeting of the year this morning -- discussing a range of pending issues from

the upcoming Winter Olympics to last week's tragic hospital fire in Miyrang.

Kim Min-ji reports.

South Korea's ruling party, government and presidential office have vowed all out efforts

to ensure the successful hosting of the PyeongChang Winter Olympics.

This came during their first policy meeting of the year on Monday,... where they said

the event will be an opportunity to raise Korea's national status and brand value...

as well as reduce geopolitical risks.

The ruling bloc also called on the opposition to avoid causing political strife regarding

North Korea's participation.

"It's foolish and regretful to use this prime opportunity to raise the country's status

to instead trigger a political conflict.

Now is the time for us to lay low and put down our personal interests -- and instead

ask for the understanding of the people and cooperation from the opposition.

Nobody can guarantee what will happen on the peninsula afterwards -- that is why we need

more effort and sincerity.

We believe the Olympics will not just bring economic benefits,... but will be a step towards

protecting the peninsula from the threat of war."

And to further promote participation -- the government is also considering offering temporary

visa waiver programs for Chinese visitors as well as Southeast Asian tour groups that

have tickets for Olympic events.

In addition, drivers will be exempt from paying toll fees on highways in eight regions of

Gangwon-do Province during the Olympic period,... while all state-operated highways will be

free-of-charge over the Lunar New Year holidays,... which fall between February 15th and 18th

this year.

As for the hospital fire in Miryang last week, which killed 39 people,... the three sides

promised to swiftly find the exact cause of the fire,... and also agreed to step up safety

inspections and take necessary measures to prevent further accidents.

"We will make sure there's no negligence in supporting the bereaved families... and in

dealing with the aftermath of the disaster -- from the cause of the fire and who is responsible...

and to prevent this from happening again.

We will be carrying out a full inspection of facilities,... and implement overall safety

measures."

They also vowed to roll up their sleeves to ensure that people have peace of mind over

the Lunar New Year break.

"We will do our best to implement government measures to support the vulnerable,... as

well as financial support funds to help micro-businesses and low income workers in the wake of the

minimum wage hike... before the holiday break."

The three sides also agreed to step up cooperation so that the National Assembly can pass pending

bills related to people's livelihoods and safety during the February parliamentary session...

set to kick off on Tuesday.

South Korea and the United States have wrapped up their latest round of high-level defense

talks last week.... and while the two Koreas have been interacting for North Korea's participation

in the upcoming PyeongChang Winter Olympics,...

Seoul and Washington have reaffirmed their ironclad alliance..... saying that their ultimate

goal.... is North Korea's denuclearization.

And before we sit down with an expert to talk more about this... here's our Oh Jung-hee

with more on the meeting.

Amid continued visits and talks between the two Koreas,... the defense chiefs of Seoul

and Washington met on Friday to reaffirm their ironclad alliance and denuclearization goal.

South Korean Defense Minister Song Young-moo and U.S. Defense Secretary James Mattis sat

down for talks at U.S. Pacific Command in Hawaii -- just three months after their last

meeting in late October.

The U.S. defense chief welcomed the recent resumption of inter-Korean talks.

But at the same time, Mattis and his South Korean counterpart confirmed their shared

goal of the complete, verifiable and irreversible denuclearization of the Korean peninsula.

That is... the talks on the Olympics should serve to make North Korea change its path

and come to the negotiation table, but not detract from the ultimate goal of denuclearization.

Song and Mattis also saw eye-to-eye on the need to strengthen military readiness against

Pyongyang,... while maintaining strong support for diplomatic solutions.

(Jan. 26, 2018) "[The best response] to this threat remains

diplomacy-led, backed up with military options available to ensure that our diplomats are

understood to be speaking from a position of strength."

Mattis reaffirmed Washington's ironclad security commitment to South Korea, including extended

deterrence,... and stressed North Korea will face an overwhelming response from the U.S.,...

if the regime ever attacked one of its allies.

Song and Mattis also emphasized that any attempt to crack the Seoul-Washington

alliance will fail.

They agreed to meet face-to-face as often as possible.

While there was speculation the talks would set the schedule for

the postponed joint military drills -- Key Resolve and Foal Eagle -- that was not the

case.

The exact schedules remain unknown,... but the allies' military authorities are firm...

that the drills will be held as normal... immediately after

the PyeongChang Olympics wrap up in March.

Batching your laundry.

Is it easier to do it all at once or to break it up into loads every day?

We're going to talk about that today.

Hi there, I'm Angela Brown, and this is Ask A House Cleaner.

This is a show where you get to ask a house cleaning question

and I get to help you find an answer.

Today we're talking about laundry and batching your laundry.

Who does that?

Well, I do that.

If you have a particular system for how you do your clothes, it's going to make doing

your clothes a whole lot easier.

Now lots of people don't like doing laundry because they save it until one day a week

and then it's all piled up and they have lots of loads of laundry, and they got to sort

through everything and they got to fold everything and put everything away when it's done and

it's this huge task.

There are other people that do little loads of laundry every single day and it's just

part of their daily process.

Now if you're batching your laundry, it's easy if you break it down by weight and color.

Now not to get too technical.

I don't want you to do anything super crazy.

I don't want you to be making calendars about what color and what day of the week and all

that stuff.

But think about it like this.

If you wash all of your linens, that's your bedding and your pillow cases and all that

stuff, if you wash all of that on Sunday, and it can be any day of the week, just pick

whatever day you want to use, but if you'll wash your linens on one day, all of the weight

of the fabric is going to be about the same.

A pillow case is a lighter weight than a sheet, for example,

but it's all part of the same family.

Because they're all from the same color scheme, they can go in the washing machine together.

Then when you hang them out to dry or you put them in the drier, they can all go in

there together.

Opposed to as if you had a great big bed sheet and then maybe you had a pair of socks, the

weight is going to be different.

When you batch your stuff, you can batch it by color and weight of fabric.

For example, what if one day you grabbed everybody's shirts in the family and you washed all of

the shirts.

That's all you did, you washed all of the shirts one day a week.

And everybody knew what day of the week it was, and you could even put a little list

by your washing machine saying Monday is shirt day.

All of the shirts are going to be about the same weight.

They're not as heavy as a pair of pants, for example.

They're all about the same weight.

They're lightweight.

Based on colors, you can do a colored one and a light one if you have that many shirts.

In my family, everybody wears about the same colors and they're all colors,

they're not white.

We don't wear because we spill stuff on ourselves.

Anyway, on Tuesday you can wash all the pants.

That would be the sweatpants and the jeans and the work pants and all that stuff because

they're a thicker fabric.

So they'll all go through the washing machine and the drier all about the same weight, and

they're all roughly dark colors.

That way, they all can be processed at the same time.

By batching your laundry that way, it makes it super easy and it takes all the guesswork

out of it because you know on what day all of the towels,

for example, are going to be washed.

Or you know it's linen day, or you know it's the day for pants, or it's the day for socks

and underwear or whatever it is.

As you break it up, it makes it super easy because then you know what needs to be done

that day.

You can have separate hampers if you like or you can just say, "Hey, everybody bring

me, by 8 o'clock in the morning, all of your shirts on this day.

Bring me all of your pants on that day."

You'll see people, as they're getting dressed for the day, they're scooping up all their

stuff that they've sorted.

You let the family sort their own stuff and just bring it down to the washing machine,

and then you do one great big load of laundry.

Makes it super easy.

Then when you put it away, you're not running all over the house putting away towels and

rags and socks and underwear and hanging up shirts, and pants, and doing all the stuff.

All the pants go in one spot in the closet.

We have one closet, two closets, three closets, bam, we're done.

It's easy, right?

That's my two cents for today.

Batch your laundry.

It's just another way of doing it.

Try it.

Give it a try.

See if it's easier for you.

sports and into the realm of diplomacy... often times, summit diplomacy.

With South Korean President Moon Jae-in about to kick off his first multilateral diplomacy

at home... yes, on the occasion of the 2018 Winter Olympics Games in PyeongChang... the

Blue House, on Monday, unveiled the list of world leaders visiting the nation next month.

"We expect some 2-thousand-9-hundred-43 athletes from 92 countries to participate in the Winter

Olympics in PyeongChang next month.

This is the largest in size for a Winter Olympics.

We're also expecting 26 statesmen from 21 nations to visit South Korea."

President Moon's liberal government is hoping that the North's Olympic participation could

mark the beginning of something bigger, of something beyond just sport.

So, it's certainly a disappointment for the Moon administration to see that just one head

of state from the four key regional powers will be in attendance as it would have definitely

liked to see a stronger showing... to set the diplomatic stage to defuse tensions on

the Korean peninsula.

Nonetheless, the South Korean leader will take this opportunity to both host and flex

his diplomatic muscle.

"President Moon will host a reception for leaders in the country for the PyeongChang

Olympics on Friday, the 9th of February.

He will also hold separate meetings with 14 world leaders including the presidents of

Germany, Slovenia, and the Secretary-General of the United Nations."

Despite the shorter list of heads of state level attendees to the PyeongChang Winter

Olympics, the summits and meetings the South Korean president will have during the Olympic

period carry significant value and ramifications.

There have been reports of a Moon, Abe summit slated for the day of the opening ceremony

- the first since a diplomatic row broke out after President Moon threw into doubt the

2015 agreement over Japan's wartime sexual enslavement of Korean women... and the Moon,

Cumin: 1/4 tsp, Asafoetida: 1 pinch

Prepare french beans by cutting its edges
