State of the Union: Donald Trump delivers his first address - Duration: 2:16.Over in Washington the highlight of the day was President Donald Trump's first State of
the Union address.
The U.S. leader covered a diverse range of issues from North Korea to immigration policies.
Lee Jeong-yeon shares with us his remarks.
U.S. President Donald Trump delivered his maiden State of the Union speech to Congress
on Tuesday.
He said "maximum pressure" will be placed on North Korea as he referred to the regime's
"cruel dictatorship" and its "reckless pursuit of nuclear missiles" that could threaten the
U.S..
"Complacency and concessions only invite aggression and provocations.
I will not repeat the mistakes of the past administrations that got us into this dangerous
position."
He also narrated the incident with the late Otto Warmbier, whose family was present at
the address, as well as the story of the North Korean defector Ji Seong-ho who was also in
the audience.
Aside from comments on the regime, he mainly stressed 'unity' and 'reconciliation' of different
parties to come together 'for the people.'
Immigration took a pivotal portion of his speech.
He said he would push for policies that focus on the 'best interests of American workers
and American families,' by crafting a bipartisan approach to immigration reform.
He mentioned the 'four pillars' plan.
This includes a pathway to provide citizenship to 1-point-8 million unregistered immigrants
in the U.S., building a wall on the Southern border with Mexico, abolishing the visa lottery
to move towards a 'merit-based immigration system,' and ending chain migration to protect
the nuclear family.
He also took credit for the record-low unemployment rate and rising wages after 'years of stagnation,'
and claimed that 2-point-4 million new jobs were created since his election.
Trump called on the Congress to produce a bill that generates at least 1-point-5 trillion
U.S. dollars for investment on new infrastructure... to 'permanently fix the infrastructure deficit.'
He also said the U.S. has enacted the biggest tax cuts and reforms in its history, a move
that, according to Trump, will provide 'tremendous relief for the middle class and small businesses.'

Young Talents: Mikel Oyarzabal, Real Sociedad - Duration: 1:48.Mikel Oyarzabal is one of the most talented footballers to have emerged from the prolific Zubieta Academy.
He has made rapid progress in LaLiga and is now a crucial part of Eusebio Sacristan's plans.
Oyarzabal began his footballing career in the Eibar junior teams.
His destiny could have been very different as, during his time there, he had a call from Athletic Club.
His parents however, decided he should stay on at Eibar.
Real then signed him as a junior player. After another season on loan to Eibar, his outstanding performances
the youth side, with whom he won the league title, gave him the chance to play for Sanse in 2014.
After just a year in the reserves, Oyarzabal saw his dream come true.
On the 25th of October 2015, David Moyes included him in the squad for a league game away to Levante.
The Basque player, made his LaLiga Santander debut in the match, coming on to replace Vela in the 85th minute.
The lad from Eibar didn't take long to win a place in the first team.
That same season he got his first goal for the side against Espanyol in Cornella.
Next time out, he got a brace against Granada in the Anoeta.
On top of that he also scored the winning goal in the home game against Barcelona.
His fine performances led to a contract renewal in 2016.
Oyarzabal will now be in San Sebastian until 2022.
Real Sociedad have put their faith in a youth team player who has risen to the top and become an essential part of the team.

My Dream Team: Ruben Perez, CD Leganes - Duration: 2:25."Hi, I'm Ruben Perez, I play for Leganes and this is my Dream Team."
"I'd play a 4-3-3 formation because I like having three central midfielders and I enjoy keeping possession of the ball."
"In goal, Iker Casillas."
"Because he's been so important in recent years and he's the keeper who's won all the silverware for Spain."
"Daniel Alves would be right back."
"Because of his attacking abilities which have contributed so much to Barcelona's success over the years".
"I'd go for Marcelo as left back."
"He's great offensively and he really helps the team bring the ball out of defence".
"I'd pick Gerard Pique as centre back."
"Because he's so comfortable on the ball and adds so much to his team. I think he's one of the best defenders in the world."
"The other central defender would be Sergio Ramos."
"He's multi-talented, a complete player. For me he's the best centre back in the world."
"I'd put, Sergio Busquets in central midfield."
"He's the best player in the world in that position, he's tactically alert and his distribution is superb."
"Beside him, I'd have Xavi Hernandez."
"Through his performances over the years he's shown he's the best in that position and has a deadly final pass."
"Iniesta."
"For his incisiveness and his ability to hold on to the ball. He'd be an essential part of anybody's team."
"On the right of the attack, Messi."
"He'd have, as he's shown over the years, a great understanding with Dani Alves,
and he's also, of course, the best player in the world."
"On the left, Neymar."
"He's the most direct, dynamic player that's ever played in LaLiga.
When Messi stops playing he'll become the best player in the world."
"I'd have Luis Suarez as centre forward."
"He's the most accomplished striker playing in the Spanish league. Every team would like to have a player like him."
"Well, that's my Dream Team, a team made up of all my favourite players.
I'd really like to have seen them all playing together and winning LaLiga."

South Korea, U.S. start second round of FTA talks - Duration: 1:47.Round 2 of talks to ammend Seoul-Washington free trade deal begins in the nation's capital.
The meeting comes amid rising tensions between the two sides over U.S. safeguard measures
on Korean washers and solar panels.
Here's Kim Hyesung with a closer look.
A second round of talks to revise the Korea-U.S. free trade agreement.
Negotiators from South Korea and the U.S.,... represented by Yoo Myung-hee, director general
for South Korea's trade ministry's trade policy bureau and her U.S. counterpart, Assistant
Trade Representative Michael Beeman, kicked off their two-day meeting in Seoul.
Before entering the talks, Yoo said she will focus on maximizing Korea's national interest
and that the two sides will discuss details on topics raised during their first round
of talks in Washington.
During the initial meeting in early January, Seoul raised issues with the investor-state
dispute settlement cause and ways to protect its agricultural industry,... while the U.S.
presented proposals to improve its auto exports and lift trade barriers.
As of 2017, Korea's trade surplus with the U.S. was about 18 billion dollars, with car
exports accounting for over 70 percent of the surplus.
At the same time, South Korea is expected to raise the issue of Washington's safeguard
measures.
A week ago, the Trump Administration imposed tariffs on foreign residential washing machines
and solar cells, including those from South Korea, saying they hurt U.S. local industry.
The safeguard measure, which was imposed for the first time against Korea in 16 years,
would lead to tariffs of up to 50 percent on imported washing machines and a 30 percent
tariff will be applied on imported solar panels after the first 2.5 gigawatts in the first
year.
Calling the move excessive, South Korea has filed a complaint with the World Trade Organization.

10 Years Ago... Matchday 22 LaLiga 2007/2008 - Duration: 2:54.Ten years ago, LaLiga suddenly hotted-up, thanks to a major slip up from the leaders
at the Estadio de los Juegos Mediterraneos.
A goal from the ex-Real Madrid player Alvaro Negredo was enough to see off Schuster's side who ended their
run of ten unbeaten games at Almeria.
Having already drawn with Valladolid and Murcia it completed a full set of poor results against recently
promoted teams.
A worrying habit for Los Blancos, who the season before had lost to two other newcomers in LaLiga,
Recreativo and Levante.
Barcelona took full advantage of their rival's defeat and narrowed the gap at the top.
In a puddle strewn Camp Nou a great goal from Xavi, saw off Osasuna. It was also the day in which
Ronaldinho returned to the side to make his 200th appearance in a Barça shirt.
The Pichichi, Luis Fabiano, was on target yet again.
Two cracking strikes in the Nuevo Colombino, both, consolidated his lead in the goal-scoring table,
and gave Sevilla a derby win against Recreativo.
The side from Huelva were now stuck in the relegation zone, a sorry predicament that led to the dismissal of
Victor Muñoz.
To add to their woes, Ersen Martin had the worst debut possible. He came on for the injured Sinama-Pongolle
but was sent off after just ten minutes on the pitch.
Javier Irureta had a happier debut in his first home game in charge of Real Zaragoza.
The trio of Ricardo Oliveira, Diego Milito and Sergio Garcia ran rings round Athletic Club.
It was, however, to be the new coach's one and only victory with the Aragonese team.
Ten years ago, two Barça youth team players, Luis Garcia and Jofre, got a goal each in the one all draw
at the Vicente Calderon between Atletico Madrid and Real Murcia.
The oddest goal of the matchday came from the boot of Mustapha Riga.
The Ghanaian put a loose ball in the net after a corner from Laurent Courtois. The Frenchman fell over as he
took the kick, but still managed to provide an assist.

The Interview: Sidnei da Silva, RC Deportivo player - Duration: 6:49."I'm having a great time in A Coruña."
It's a brilliant city."
"I love the way of life."
"I'm very happy to be here"
"For the club, for me personally and for everyone, when big teams show interest,
I think it's a good thing, it's a sign of the great work that's going on here,
both on my part and that of the club. I think it means a lot"
"There are always possibilities but Deportivo have put a lot of effort into
holding on to me and I've shown the same commitment. I'm very happy here.
I've always made that clear. I hope to be here for a long time more. That's my heartfelt wish.
"I'm fine, I think I made the right decision. I'm very happy here.
I just want to keep on working hard and help Deportivo progress as a team"
"The 'Depor' fans are incredible. They've shown their loyalty to us so many times, the whole world knows about it.
Although we haven't got the results they've deserved or we've deserved, they're still there, match after match.
Every weekend they turn up, helping and supporting us, and we're really grateful to them for that.
That's why we've got to give our very best and improve with every day.
So that we can give something back to them for the dedication they've shown"
"Making it into LaLiga was a great thrill for me. It's so great to play in an important championship like this.
I'm really glad I went to Espanyol, they're the team that gave me the chance to start my career in LaLiga"
"I really enjoyed that year at Espanyol. We had Hector Moreno and Diego Colotto at the club.
They both had a lot of experience in LaLiga. Playing games and sharing the
dressing room with them was very important for me, I learnt a lot"
"I didn't have to think too hard about coming to Deportivo. I had teammates at Espanyol like Colotto and Pizzi,
who talked highly of the club. Fortunately, I got the opportunity to come and I'm still here, still happy"
"That game at Camp Nou was really special. We were going to a tough ground, it's always great
going to stadiums like that, but we were playing for our lives. And playing for your life against Barça at Camp Nou is not easy.
But despite the pressure bearing down on us, it ended up being an unforgettable day. It's something that the
players and the fans will remember all their lives. Getting a point from that match was brilliant.
It was also Xavi's farewell game, so it was a great day for both teams."
"In a moment like that, when you're behind on the scoreboard against a team like Barça,
it seems like you've got a mountain to climb. To end the match the way we did was simply
incredible. It was just what we needed to make that day at the Camp Nou a total party"
"The truth is, the last two years have been tough. In both seasons we only avoided relegation in the penultimate game.
Of course, we didn't want to leave things so late, but the important thing is we have,
in the end, managed to reach our objective"
"Cristobal is a very dedicated coach. I think he's doing a great job with us.
He was doing very well with the reserves and he's doing just as well with the first team.
He brings a lot to the team, every day he teaches us something. We're very happy with him"
"I think we're having a good season. We could have done better, but there have been a lot of games in
which we probably deserved more points, and admittedly a few games where the opposite is true. All in all,
I think we're on the right track, we've got to keep it up. We know there's a lot of room
for improvement and the second half of the season has to be better than the first"
"The dream of every footballer is to play for their country. Of course, it's one of my dreams,
but right now I'm totally focussed on doing a good job for Deportivo"

Samsung Electronics to split stock by 50:1 - Duration: 2:31.Samsung Electronics also announced a 50-to-1 split of its stocks.
The company carried out such a move for the first time, citing demand from investors.
Kwon Jang-ho gets us up to speed with the surprising development.
In a surprise move, Samsung Electronics announced a massive stock-split for the first time in
the company's history.
In a press release on Wednesday, the tech giant said it has approved a 50:1 stock split
after it had received numerous requests for the stock split based on views that a high
share price was a" hindrance to potential investors."
Samsung said its board of directors believes the stock split will make investing in Samsung
Electronics more accessible and provide dividends to a wider range of investors.
The company added that it also expects to add "both liquidity and marketability to Samsung's
stock, which may contribute to enhancing corporate value in the long term."
Upon the announcement, the company's shares jumped as high as 8-percent before dropping
to zero-point-2 percent when trade closed, although it ended up outperforming the rest
of the main bourse KOSPI, which dropped by almost 1-point-3 percent.
The total value of Samsung's shares will not change, but the price of one share, which
is currently worth around 24-hundred U.S. dollars, could in a few months time, post-split,
cost less than 50 dollars.
The tech giant had previously rejected the possibility of such a move... but despite
the value of its shares increasing by 41-percent last year, the about-face suggests the company
might have had trouble attracting retail investors.
"I think Samsung Electronics did feel frustrated in regards to that.
Its market capitalization is so large compared to the KOSPI.
So it could feel as it is being undervalued, as many local investors did not invest in
the company."
With Samsung shares taking up some 20-percent of the total value of the Korea's main stock
exchange, investors are also bracing for broader impact on the Korean stock market.
"Overall I think it might improve the liquidity in the system, and to Samsung Electronics
shares.
I think that in order for more investors to invest, they have to pay more dividends.
But if there is more payout ratio happening, then the Korean equity market as well as Samsung
Electronics, should do much better in the future.
The final approval on the stock split decision will be made at the company's annual shareholders'
meeting in March... and it's not expected to come into force until May.
Kwon Jang-ho, Arirang News.
