Samsung DeX Station | Unboxing and Review - MyTrendyPhone - Duration: 3:50.

This time we're looking at the Samsung DeX Station

for desktop experience.

Hey everyone, it's Becca from MTP

and welcome back to our channel.

First, let's check out the content of the box

it's a pretty plain package.

You get some booklets and the Samsung DeX Station.

Bear in mind that this package doesn't include

the power brick or the cable so make sure

you use your own to charge the device up.

Peel off the protective foil before using it.

Now, let's check out the design.

The top unfolds into a dock

revealing the USB type-c port for your phone.

So far only Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+

are compatible with this device.

Since won't work with non-Samsung phones.

We hope the range of possibilities will expand soon

as new Samsung phones are coming out.

Other than that, the device has 2 USB 2.0 ports,

one HDMI port, one ethernet port and one USB type-c port.

Sounds like a lot for a device this small, doesn't it?

Well let's break it down.

The ports are there to help your phone

connects to your desktop monitor.

Use the HDMI cable to connect your

monitors to the DeX station.

Use the USB ports to plug in the keyboard and mouse,

or just wireless receivers if you want to

connect them via Bluetooth.

Once it's all done place your phone into the holder.

Once you plug in your phone to the USB type-c port

there should be a picture of your phones screen on your monitor.

Now, you can use your phone as a fully functional PC

in a big screen mode using a keyboard and a mouse.

The layout is rather desktop friendly.

You will notice that whole setup is quite familiar

with everyday computer usage experience.

There's a button on the bottom right for the app drawer

with all available apps you have in your device.

And on the right you will find a status bar

for notifications, time, battery life and so on.

And not only that you get the apps from your phone

but you can also have the apps like

Microsoft Word, Excel and others.

that are built to work with docking stations like this.

You can use almost all of the apps you have on your Samsung Galaxy S8.

And that doesn't exclude making and taking calls or

or receiving and responding to text messages.

Also the camera works quite well

and as DeX station doesn't support any web cameras yet

this is the only choice that you have if you want to make a Skype call.

Most of the apps can be used in full screen mode.

While some of them can't since they're built mainly

for cell phone usage.

This is the only thing that we can say that is a flaw

but other than that the user experience with the station is amazing.

There are even some Dex apps you can download from the App Store

There are not too many of them for now

but they're building up to a bigger choice of apps

and they're doing a really good job.

It's not really a deal breaker for gamers, but it's definitely

something you can fully use as a PC on everyday basis

for a light activity and browsing.

You can mirror your phone screen

or you can use it in full desktop mode.

It's really up to you.

Abandoned Railroad Crossing - Duration: 3:10.

Hello ladies and gentlemen this is an update videos few months ago, I was at this

crossing while they were removing the gates, lights and I wanted to come back

here a few months after and see what had taken place since then so it's pretty

much the same as I left it on the cantilevers are still there obviously - the

lights and gates and cross bucks but I don't think they've removed anything

else

yes, the concrete foundation for the cantilever which is still here. I guess

at some point they had a larger cantilever or another one. You see the 4

screws over there.

this is a track view North. This is Flagler Street in Miami Florida

I'll include the Google Maps link to it to this location and then there we see

the relay case off to the left

this is facing West on Flagler Street and I'm going to give you a shot at the

cantilever right now, the sun's in the way. this would be the South side of the crossing. You

can see the cantilever they're still there but the lights, gates, and cross bucks

removed. You can see there's a whistle post and a mile post right there.

Let me see if I can give you track view South here. It's a pretty busy street so bare with me guys.

there used to be a signal right like a few feet South of that cantilever there, but not

anymore

This is the FEC track that went to US 1 and met up with the main and then went to the

Oversea Railway. That was pre 1984 when they installed the metro rail

Up until 2008 this line was in use it serviced Everglades Lumber which was just

near Southwest 8th ST and then when that closed, this line was pretty much

isolated because it was nobody left on the line to service and looking North is

over there where that overpass is the link was, the line was cut so this

line here is just isolated. See the wooden cross ties.

Take only pimples that are ready to be popped

The white blood cells will have collected and be walled off in the follicle

forming a visible white head on the surface

If it does not have a white head then squeezing

Mashing poking or prodding will only make it worse

Wash your face and hands with warm water and soap and pat dry

Get a needle

Carefully pass the tip of the needle through a flame from a lighter or a match

Use the tip of the flame this is the hottest part

Wait a few seconds until the tip of the needle cool

Using a cotton ball or even paper towel soaks with rubbing alcohol

wipe the tip of the needle clean

Gently wipes, it simple and surrounding area with another alcohol wipe or alcohol soaked Cotton ball

With the needle nearly parallel to your skin impale the head of the pimple

If possible stay parallel with the skin and gently push the needle thorough the other side of the pimple then pull up

Opening the top of the pimple

If no pus comes out then the pimple was not ready

Gently blot and wait 12 to 24 hours to try again

Anything even pressure push down

Perpendicular to your skin around the pimple

Do not squeeze the pimple between your thumb and fingers

Squeezing can cause the pustules to rupture backward deeper into your skin

creating further information and turning a little pimple into a big red nodule

Gently wipe the area with a clean alcohol wipe or alcohol soaked Cotton ball

You can now apply some witch hazel if you have some or just hold light pressure for a minute or so

The Pardon Acne spot treatment to the area such as neutrogena Rapid clear acne

eliminating spot gel or neutrogena skin clearing oil-free concealer

This will also create a barrier between the pimple and your makeup if you wear it
