Fox is always trying their hardest to keep a franchise alive even after the audience
loses interest, it's the same case in this movie.
This is the third installment of the prequel films.
The prequel saga is supposed to show you what happened in the universe leading up to the
events of the original trilogy.
I'm surprised this franchise had the balls to do more than one trilogy because according
to the studio, the third one is always the worst one (audio).
The movie's about this school of super powered kids.
The super powered kids are lead by this one wise dude.
The wise dude is the strongest character from a mental standpoint.
However, when it comes to physical activities like walking, he has a tough time getting
from point A to B. The wise teacher notices one of his students is having a hard time
sleeping.
The student is having these scary nightmares and it's unclear if it's just a bad dream
or warning signs of what's to come.
Meanwhile, there's an evil menace to society who's hell bent on taking over the world.
The evil villain walks around in this dark hooded cloak just like the outfit Michael
Jackson had on in the beginning of the Do You Remember the Time video.
The bad guy can't take over the world alone so he starts recruiting allies to work with
him.
He uses heart ache and pain as a recruiting tool to get people to turn to the dark side
and join him.
His number one target is one of the main characters who's dealing with a lot of pain and hate.
For one, he never got over the murder of his mother.
Secondly, he witnesses the love of his life brutally murdered right in front of him and
last, but not least, he hates sand with a passion (audio).
When you add up all the anger in his heart, he's practically begging for an Uber to
the dark side.
The conflicted character is one of the biggest hypocrites you'll find in cinema.
He's lead to the dark side because of the loss of his mother so you'd imagine he holds
parenting with high regards, but then he's the worst dad in the universe next to Joe
Jackson and he doesn't even raise his own kids.
The evil villain has a way with words and to be totally honest, I'm not sure I wouldn't
have fallen for his plan if it were me.
He shows his new student these cool tricks like how to make these purple bubbles and
all he has to do in return is kill anyone that stands in their way.
Sounds like a sweet deal to me.
At first, the villain's followers don't trust him at all.
He starts monologuing and (light saber sound effect), the put a lightsaber to his neck
and are all like "you liar", but more and more his plan starts making sense to them
as they become blinded by their own ambition.
The evil bad guy's plan starts coming together.
He gets an army and his new recruits are out for blood.
They march up to one of their old jobs and kill everybody working that day.
The bad guys destroy the school for the gifted.
The head teacher of the students at the school and the main bad guy fights and the teacher
gets taught a lesson when he gets whooped and after that, the bad guys are picked off
one by one by the military.
When someone is too far gone, you could tell by the look in their eyes.
This character gets brainwashed by the villain with the hooded cloak and it's unclear if
he'll ever be back to normal.
The heroes discover where they're old friend is hiding and they fly over to see if they
could reason with him.
As soon as the chick steps off the plane, she chokes harder than Peyton Manning in Super
Bowl 48.
Then (lightsaber sound effects) and the planet is in total chaos.
So much so, you can't even tell who's winning, but after the good guy has the higher
ground and the villain's on the bottom, it's clear who's going to get the W (audio
I have the high ground).
Even though he doesn't have the higher, the bad guy continues to attack.
It's ruled a suicide attempt and he gets chopped up by the laser and burned up worst
than Pepsi did Michael.
To set up the next film, they add scenes of the franchise's most iconic character and
show you how he ended up with all that metal inside his body and it would've been way
more awesome if they focused that level of detail into the rest of the movie (Darth Vader:
Nooo Audio).
