Big Banks Own Every Ounce Of Our Spineless Congress - Duration: 3:35.

A big win for the financial industry was achieved after the US Senate allowed banks to bar customers

from filing class action lawsuits against them.

At the cost of consumer rights, Republicans successfully completely squashed the rule

that would've given average citizens more power to resolve disputes and protect themselves

from predatory banking practices.

Joining me to talk about this is legal journalist for Trial Lawyer Magazine Mollye Barrows.

Mollye, there's no question who wins.

Big banks win.

Consumers get hammered again.

Isn't that how this story adds up?

Yes.

It's the classic spin, 'We're doing this to protect you,' but not at all.

The ones that are getting protected are the financial institutions.

Basically, when you and I sign up for a credit card, or maybe open up a new account, there

is clauses in there that say if you have a dispute with one of the practices, then the

bank gets to choose a third person, a mediator.

A forced arbitration, if you will, and you don't have the option to sue.

Well, this new rule passed by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and basically

it went into action in July ... These banking institutions have been complaining about it

ever since, and then the Senate basically ... And Mike Pence was the tie-breaking vote

... Agreed that customers don't have that option anymore.

So here we've got Trump and Pence ... They're running on 'We're the populous.

We care about the consumer.'

Not at all.

And Pence is the guy that says, 'No, you know what?

We're going to let big banks, we're going to let big credit card companies, we're going

to let telecommunication companies run over consumers,' and they're not going to be

able to do anything but arbitrate.

And what's so important about that, as you know, is the corporation wins more than 70%

of the time in arbitration because they pick the arbitrators.

Isn't that how this works?

Yes, that's exactly right.

That's the problem with the whole arbitration system.

It's not like you and I can go up there and say, 'I want to talk to the bank president.'

Speaking of a situation like Wachovia, where they opened up three-and-a-half million accounts,

phony accounts, that caused customers wrecked their lives financially, basically, in many

cases.

So some of those ... And that's where this rule came from ... Some of those customers

wanted to pursue basically a class action lawsuit, and they were not allowed to pursue

that.

This rule would've allowed them to go around that ban and pursue that.

In Wachovia, they were, but yes.

So, what's important about the class action is if you have a million people that lose

$100, if it's a class action, they can all bring that case together, but if they have

to bring it individually, one person who lost $100, it's going to cost them $20,000 just

to get the $100 back.

So, in the end, the bank is able to say, 'Gee whiz, this is pretty good profit margin for

us.

We stole all this money,' like Wachovia has done, and all these other banks of done

so many times.

'We've stolen all this money,' ... Bank of America ... Just take a look at how many

times these people have committed outright criminal fraud.

So, now consumers have nothing they can do about it, right?

No.

No.

I mean, unless they want to pursue it individually, like you said, but basically, this rule would've

allowed them to go around those arbitration clauses and pursue class action suits, and

now they're not going to be allowed to do that.

It also goes to the bigger issue of, again, a Donald Trump led government, especially

with the Republicans.

Back in March, they also pushed the Fairness and Class Action Litigation Act, which is

still moving its way through Congress, and that's got a long uphill battle, but it's

another attempt to limit consumers' options when it comes to holding these institutions

accountable fiscally.

Big day for banks.

Terrible day for consumers.

We're used to seeing that again and again.

Thanks for joining me ok.

Yes.

IS SITTING THE NEW SMOKING? w/ Guest Dietitian JERLYN JONES - Duration: 6:30.

Hi everyone my name is Kim I am a Registered Dietitian. Welcome back to my

channel! For those of you that are new there's some videos below that I do want

you to take a look at so don't be shy go ahead and look around familiarize

yourself with my channel, with its contents and remember to comment, like,

and subscribe. For my returning subscribers welcome! Today guys I want to

discuss with you something that affects everyone. Something that affects you as

well as myself and that is sitting! So I'm pretty sure that you guys may have

read journal articles or seen it on the news or read it in a magazine, but

sitting is the new smoking. So everyone knows that smoking has very

negative affects on the body. Smoking can increase the risk of stroke as well as

heart disease by two to four times and that's not even mentioning the lung

disease and cancer that is associated with smoking. So I was reading a

commentary from the Mayo Clinic and they actually did a study and they found out

that when you sit it increases obesity; and of course when you couple obesity

with other risk factors you have comorbid conditions. So you may develop

diabetes, some people may develop hypertension,

high cholesterol, the list goes on and on. And actually the Mayo Clinic did find 34

chronic diseases were linked with obesity and sitting! Sitting definitely

does have some negative affects on our health and as well as our bodies. What I

have done, I've invited a guest dietitian to discuss with us some easy exercises

that we can do at our desk, some exercises that can get the heart rate

pumping that can use up the fat, the sugar in our blood system. So let

me give you a little bit of information about Jerlyn. So Jerlyn is a

Registered Dietitian Nutritionist who is the founder of the Lifestyle Dietitian, LLC.

She has experience assisting people improving their overall health in the

areas related to diabetes management, weight management,

heart disease, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and kidney disease. She also

teaches the importance of adherence to a healthy lifestyle through cooking

demonstrations which are geared for a variety of populations from children to

adults as well as geriatrics. Previously she was a clinical

nutritionist at a top-rated hospital in New York where she received

the employee of the month award. Educationally she received a Bachelor's

of Science degree in Justice Studies and a Master's in Public Administration and

both of these degrees she received from Arizona State University. She went on to

earn a Master's of Science degree in Nutrition and Education from the

Teachers College Columbia University. As a leader in the Academy of Nutrition and

Dietetics she has served on the Executive Committee of the Nutrition

Education for the public dietetics practice group. She is passionate about

teaching people about nutrition in the area of prevention and how to overcome

barriers and obstacles to live a healthier life. So without further ado

here is Jerlyn teaching us that we need to move move move. Hi my name is Jerlyn Jones and I'm also the Lifestyle Dietitian, you can follow

me on Twitter @Jerlynnutrition and

follow me on instagram @thelifestyle dietitian and also facebook @the

lifestyle dietitian. I am taking over Kim's YouTube channel today so stay tuned

so I can tell you more about why is it important to move, move, move.

Why is it important to move your body? Well here are reasons: increases energy and self esteem,

build strong muscles, relieve stress, improves sleep, prevent chronic illnesses such

as heart disease, cancer, and stroke. Our bodies are designed to walk, run, dance,

and play; sitting for a long period time may have grim consequences. A recent published journal

study for sitting for a long period of time increases your risk of an early death. Sitting less and moving more

is encouraged by other health related organizations. Try these exercises at your

desk to get you moving more. One of the exercises is jumping jacks. You want to

do jumping jacks for at least 60 seconds. Another exercise is while you're seated

pump both your arms really fast over your head for 30 seconds then rapidly

tap your feet on the ground as quick as you can like a football style drill for

30 seconds 2 or 3 times. You can also march our jog in place for

60 seconds. Movement along with proper nutrition is very important for a

healthy lifestyle. Before a workout eat a mixture of carbs and a protein. For an

example an apple and a tablespoon of peanut butter. Stay

hydrated with water and ditch those high sugary sports drinks. After working out

choose complex carbs like quinoa and brown rice combined with a healthy

protein like tofu and beans. I like trying different types of

exercises that strengthen my muscles and also increase my flexibility. Here's my

take away the Physical Activity Guidelines for America recommends

exercising for 150 minutes every week; that comes out to 30 minutes five days

a week. That includes strength training all of your major muscles for at least two

times a week. Make moving a priority, set practical goals and most importantly

have fun. I love the fact that we do not have to go outside to exercise we can do

it when we're sitting, we can do it at our office, we can do it in our homes, we

can do it wherever just to get moving. Remember to comment, like, as well as

subscribe. All of Jerlyn's information is going to be in my description box have a

good day-- Bye!

Tips on Starting Your Own Business - Duration: 3:29.

Oh hi! It's been a month since something very special happened. And no, it's not

that I became a real boy or something goofy like that. Although, I did just

discover that unicorns aren't a real animal so... To be fair, I'm an idiot. It's

been one month since I opened Media Lab – this public production studio where you

can come and create your own YouTube videos, record your own podcasts, and just

involve yourself in the creative community of Calgary. And in that time I

have learned some valuable lessons: like sometimes it's more important to make a

decision than make the right decision, and oftentimes you're just not gonna

know what you need to do at all. And you kind of have to just fake it. However,

because I do now work out of this cooperative workspace, I thought that I

would go around and ask some my new co-workers what their business advice

would be. LINA: Be realistic with your numbers, and actually know what your numbers are.

I usually tout that "don't be realistic" route. But when it comes to finances and

business I think that is the most important thing that will make or break

your business. So that is the one first thing you should get down pat before

anything else, including marketing. JUSTIN: Biggest thing is to do what you're

passionate about. If you're doing work that makes you excited everything else

falls into place JILL: Continually be looking for money,

supporters, sponsorship. Get as many people involved as you possibly can.

Past that, best advice would be to always follow your dream. You had a very

clear vision of what you started out with, and as business starts and

continues to grow, sometimes it takes you on a different

path. You always kind of have to make sure that your vision is always in place.

KYLE: Now all that advice was filmed after I filmed this part, so hopefully that was

helpful and not just the ravings of madmen. One of the things for me when I

started on this a journey was I had this idea of what business meant. That if you

were a businessman, you know, you got up early in the morning, you put on a suit

and tie, you had a briefcase, you went and worked downtown, and you did business

things with other business people. And there's this huge nebulous

thing. But I didn't really understand. And then you get into the middle of it and

kind of discover that the majority of business is just having meetings over

coffee or beers. I'm very awake and drunk all the time! There's this bad rap that

business ownership gets where you're just this conservative stick-in-the-mud

that never wants to evolve. And really my experience has been that I have met

some of the most creative, and devoted, and energetic, and just interesting

people by being able to be part of the entrepreneur community here in Calgary.

So I think what it comes down to is that the only other advice that I can give: if

you want to start your own business or become an entrepreneur is to just do it!

<PHONE RINGS> I think those are Nike's lawyers. But as always I'd like to know what you

think. Are you an entrepreneur? Have you started your own business? Let me know

all of your advice down in the comments below. My name is Kyle. Thank you so much

for watching! I upload videos every Monday and Thursday, and if you want to

see more of this content you can also become a patron over on my Patreon page.

And besides all this stuff I have been devouring Stranger Things 2. I don't

trust that Sean Astin character. There's something going on with Bob...

Horrific Alert Just Released For Every American Family After ISIS' Plot For U.S. Neighborhoods Was U - Duration: 4:53.

Horrific Alert Just Released For Every American Family After ISIS' Plot For U.S. Neighborhoods

Was Uncovered.

On Tuesday in New York City, a Muslim psychopath mowed down innocent bicyclists and pedestrians

in an attack he had been planning for weeks, where NYPD investigators confirm he had visited

the location numerous times in order to gather intelligence before renting the Home Depot

truck and launching the deadly assault.

The 29-year old Uzbekistan native was able to come into the country under Barack Obama,

using the 'Diversity Visa Lottery Program' to get into our country.

As President Trump vows to get rid of the program in order to prevent ISIS terrorists

from gaining entry into our country, now a terrifying warning from a woman who's been

sitting in on many of the United Nations' meetings regarding refugee resettlement to

the United States is risking it all to raise alarm bells to those willing to listen.

The information she has about a literal Muslim invasion is so disturbing, that it proves

that we are intentionally being taken over thanks to the malicious actions of those at

the highest levels of our government.

And if President Trump is unable to stop what is happening with an executive order, America

as we know it will soon be lost forever.

The woman's identity in the following video is kept private due to the damning information

she exposes about the hordes of terrorists being flown into America as we speak.

She reveals that there is a blatant war on American sovereignty taking place, being orchestrated

by Barrack Hussein Obama, who continues to violate the law through by blocking President

Trump's ban with judicial activism.

Obama is secretly planting his Muslim foot soldiers in America, as thousands of these

unvetted vermin continue to come to America under the guise of the "refugee" program.

After attending many meetings with the United Nations' Office of Refugee Monitoring, she

was able to drop the following bombshell on the sickening invasion taking place in America.

She reveals that not only are these individuals flown into America at night so they go under

the radar, but that they're being thrown on a plane and flown into our country with

absolutely zero vetting process.

She notes that many of them have many highly-contagious archaic diseases that were once eradicated

from the United States, including leprosy, tuberculosis, smallpox, polio, and giardia.

GOP The Daily dose has more:

She also dispels the propaganda that the invaders are primarily women and children, a tactic

to pull on the heartstrings of the American people, stating "The vast majority of 'refugees'

that we've received here in Missouri have been males, between the ages of 15 and upwards

towards 40, 45 years old."

Josh Tolley notes the similarity to the situation we seen playing out in Europe.

She reveals that the invaders are brought in at night, supposedly because the air fare

is cheaper, but also because there is "less public at the airport."

In other words, it's easier for them to hide what they are doing to us.

"It's almost like they're making money running refugees," was a comment by the

host.

The guest says the agencies are responsible for setting the new arrivals up with a place

to live, welfare, food, Medicaid and welfare and a housing allowance, in addition to the

cash they receive on arrival.

She states that the new invaders don't have any documentation, that they are in essence

being given new identities upon arrival, many of them coming in with no more identity than

a description as "FUNU" full name unknown.

They were also pressured to identify the refugees in such a way that they would be qualified

for Social Security long term disability.

What's even more disturbing is that after immediately given Social Security benefits

once they get to America, these invaders are then given complete new identities through

social security cards and US passports.

And if states refuse to exercise their rights and refuse to play ball with these invasion

programs, the Federal government has a backup plan for that too.

The Wilson-Fish Program gives the federal government "legal" authority to go in

and violate state sovereignty, dropping off these Muslim invaders wherever they damn well

choose.

With these terrorists now free to roam, sleeper cells can then be activated at a moment's

notice to carry out terror attacks on Americans.

Obama did a wonderful job not only creating ISIS, but allowing them to rise to power.

Now all that is left for his plans to come to fruition is to invade America with his

Islamic foot soldiers, and through judicial activism and blocking Trump's travel ban,

this is how Obama will succeed.

What makes it even more infuriating is that the liberal media will continue to cover Obama's

treasonous antics, blasting concerned Americans as "racists" and "bigots" who want

to implement a ban on these vermin as a way to keep terrorists from infiltrating America.

what do you think about this?
