How to Script YouTube Videos (for HIGH ENGAGEMENT) - Duration: 6:25.

Sunny Lenarduzzi: You want to get 39,000 comments on your next YouTube video?

Keep watching.

Welcome to the Sunny Show.

Did I hook you?

Hey, boss.

It's Sunny Lenarduzzi, and now, this is step one to writing a script that gets high engagement.

When you get high engagement on YouTube, you get more retention, which means you're going

to get higher rankings and more views to suggested and through search.

How do you write a whole script that's going to give you massive amounts of engagement?

We're going to talk about that today.

I'm going to take you step-by-step through it.

Step number one is the hot intro, so hook, outcome, testimonial.

That's what the hot intro stands for.

Hook is obviously getting the viewers' attention right off the bat to make them want to stay

tuned in.

Outcome is telling them exactly what they're going to get out of your video by the end

of watching it, again, making them want to stay tuned in to the whole thing, and testimonial

is if you are an entrepreneur or you are some sort of expert of any kind, giving people

a reason to believe you and trust you, i.e., I've worked with thousands of people in the

fitness space or in the YouTube space, something like that, some sort of testimonial.

That's hook, outcome, testimonial, the whole hot intro, but if you were just starting,

and you don't want to deal with the outcome and testimonial pieces, just make sure you

don't miss the hook because the hook is what's going to get your viewers' attention immediately

and make them want to watch your entire video.

The hook is vital.

Let's say I'm doing a vlog on traveling around Canada.

I'm going to hook my viewers by doing something like this.

Video: Oh, my God.

Did you just see that whale?

SunnyLenarduzzi: Really, the easiest way to do this is either by starting off with something

that's going to make them go, "Oh, my gosh, I have to watch this," kind of what I did

at the beginning of this video or starting with the most exciting piece of footage and

working backwards to tell the story of how you got to that moment because then, people

know something really exciting is coming and you're going to lead them all the way back

there by the end of the video.

Makes sense?

Cool.

Step number two of writing a high engagement script for YouTube is asking for what you

want.

You want people to subscribe, and you also want people to hit the little bell to be notified

when you go live when you post new videos, whatever else it might be.

You want to build your tribe.

The only way to do that is to remember that not everybody uses YouTube on a daily basis

so you got to tell them what to do, so at the beginning of your video after you've hooked

people, ask them to subscribe to your channel.

Step number three is the meat.

Think of it as a sandwich.

If a sandwich was just two pieces of bread, it's pretty boring, so the meat is really

important, and you want to get into it as quickly as possible.

Whether it's a blog and you get into the storytelling piece of it or it's a tutorial and you get

into the sequential steps, the meat matters, and the sooner that you can get into the meat

of your video, the more people are going to be engaged in your content and wanting to

watch all the way through.

Step number four is middle engagement, so keep your questions simple because again,

not everybody uses YouTube every single day.

You need to warm people up.

You get them over that hump of actually leaving a comment on YouTube.

What I like to do and how I rack up thousands of comments on my videos, I ask something

really simple.

For example, in this video I'm going to ask you right now, is the scripting process making

sense?

If it is, write boss in the comments below.

I know a few of you are going to go do that, which thank you for doing it, and if you've

written boss, then it makes me more comfortable to write more comments throughout the entire

video.

You've asked them to subscribe at the beginning, that's one piece of engagement.

Then, you're asking them a question in the middle to keep them drawn into you and keep

them engaged in your content.

Plus, up your engagement by getting more comments on your videos, so if you're craving comments,

this is a simple thing to do in your scripts to make sure that people are actually going

to comment on your content.

Step five is your outro engagement.

You want to make sure that before people leave their video, they are engaging with you.

There's a couple of things that you can do.

One, you want to ask them to like it if they liked it, dislike it if they didn't because

a dislike is still a piece of engagement, and it gets people interacting with your content

and probably coming back for more.

Ask them to subscribe once more if they enjoyed the content, and tell them there's a new content

coming up so they have something to look forward to.

Ask them to share it with someone that you know it would be beneficial to.

Another way to increase your engagement through your script is to ask a question, and then

include that question in the cards in your video.

Right now, we're going to add a card that says, "Are you going to use the scripting

formula?

Yes or no?"

Again, this isn't a monologue.

Boring YouTube videos are people talking at you.

Great YouTube videos with super high engagement have scripts that engage you and make you

feel like you're having a conversation and a dialogue.

Step number six, ask your viewers out.

Might sound a little forward, but it works.

You want to ask your viewers to join you somewhere else because what happens is someone finds

your video on YouTube, they think it's really entertaining, they think it's really great

obviously because you're great, but then, they forget about you.

There's too much content online, so what you need to do is make sure that you're sending

them somewhere where you can further build a relationship.

Of course, you're going to chat back with them in the comments, but also send them to

a Facebook group, to your email list, to your website, to your other social platforms, and

build those using YouTube.

Please just don't forget to send them somewhere because your viewers want to follow you and

build a relationship with you.

Step one is you need to take the first step, and ask them out.

If you're serious about killing it on YouTube, don't forget to grab my zero to a hundred

thousand subscribers guide.

I walk you through and reverse-engineer how one of my clients went from zero to … She's

actually now at 200,000 subscribers in less than 10 months.

Everything you need to know is in there.

You can grab it at the link below this video, and I know it's going to help you so much.

Did this video help you?

Are you going to use the scripting process?

Let me know in the comments below.

I can't wait to chat with you there after the video, and I will see you in the next

one.

Intel® Developer Zone Update | May 2018 | Intel Software - Duration: 2:44.

I'm Stephanie Essin, and this is the Intel Developer Zone

update.

In this episode we provide marketing tips

for your indie game, bring you the newly released Intel System

Studio 2018 Update 1, and show you

how to improve your VR projects with Google blocks.

If you're an indie game developer

and you're ready to bring your game to market,

consider these tips.

Focus on a single brand, snag a good domain name,

keep it simple, avoid branding by committee,

apply your brand consistently, and protect your brand.

This article, Get Ready, Get Noticed,

Get Big: A Practical Guide to Marketing Your Indie Game,

will give you more tips about marketing

your game that can be directly applied to your strategy.

It covers everything from marketing on a budget

to tips about self-promotion and how to become an authority

figure in your industry.

Just recently released Intel System Studio 2018 Update 1.

You can now tap into new features

that make system and IoT application development easier.

Here's how it can help.

Move from prototype to product easier with new capabilities

that seamlessly import apps from our Arduino Create

to Intel System Studio.

Developers can create, build, and edit native Java apps

using Intel System Studio.

And you can use code samples easily

through the new project Creation Wizard,

which automatically sets configuration options for you.

Check it out.

We're breaking the typical workflow for VR development

with Google Blocks.

VRs unique visual perspective creates

issues of scale, placement, and detail when

prototyping, and the combination of code and assets

can get tricky.

There are some huge benefits to prototyping in VR, including

working in the natural 3D environment

by actually moving and shaping in room scale.

In this way, 3D modeling is more like working with clay

than it is adjusting vertices in a modeling app.

Google Blocks provides a simple build by creating and modifying

primitives approach for VR that allows

quick volumetric sketching.

This combination of modified shapes and simple color

surfaces also lends itself to an aesthetic style that

is clean looking and low poly.

Here's what it could look like.

First you'd use the Google Blocks app to build

models in VR using an HTC Vive.

Next, you'll export and share the models

using the Google Poly Cloud Service.

Then use the models in Unity or Unreal Engine software

for actual development.

Lastly, work with the models in your preferred modeling

app for finalized asset development.

Thanks for watching.

Be nice. Now, you know we got company.

That's wonderful.

Everybody, have a seat.

Nate, sit up.

James, why don't you sit at the end of the table?

You wanna say grace? Say grace, baby.

Uh, thank you, God, for this food...

and for our new friends, the Howletts.

Mmm. They came to our aid.

Amen. Amen.

Here we go. Here you go, Charles.

Thank you, sir.

Mmm-hmm.

Oh, there's plenty more if she wants.

She's fine. Thank you.

This is delicious.

- Oh, thank you. - It's so good.

Where are you all headed?

Uh... Oregon. South Dakota.

Um...

Well, Oregon and then South Dakota.

Vacation?

Uh... Yes.

Uh, long overdue.

We're city folk.

Always wanted to take a road trip, see the country.

Um... And meet the people in it.

That sounds lovely.

Been trying to get Will here

to take a vacation for years now.

Oh. If we go traipsing all over the country,

who's gonna take care of this place?

Exactly. I say, let it go.

And live off what?

The Lord will provide.

I'm still waiting for the Lord to provide me

with a new thresher.

All the same, I'd love to travel someday.

And I bet you will.

I could drop out of school.

Okay, let's not go that far.

I mean, I'll do it.

- No. No. - Why not?

You wanna travel, I wanna travel.

Son. Son.

That sounds good to you, right?

This is the perfect plan.

Why would you want to do that, Nate?

Careful, you're speaking to a man who ran a school...

for a lot of years. Right, Charles?

Yes, it was a...

It was a special needs school. Um...

Uh-huh. That's a good description.

He was there, too.

Oh, yeah, no. Um...

I got kicked out a few times.

I wish I could say you were a good pupil,

but the words would choke me.

Elbphilharmonie | Blind Date with Signum Saxophon Quartet - Duration: 2:45.

If you take the title literally, pretty much anything can happen: from jazz through to classical music and pop.

I'm acutally quite excited.

This is my first blind date.

I don't think it will only be a blind date for the audience - it will be a blind date for us too,

as the people in the audience will probably have many different expectations.

I hope there'll be plenty of good music.

I'm prepared for anything. There's nothing where I'd say »Oh my God, no way!«

I gave her [the blind date] as a present, so I hope she's not going to be disappointed and it'll be my fault.

Up to now, I've always gone home in a good mood. That's my plan for tonight as well -

let's hope it works out.

Last time I went into the concert without any particular expectations. The first thing I saw was the harp.

I was really surprised, and positively so.

The whole point of the exercise is the element of surprise, that's why there are live concerts.

Otherwise, you could just stay at home and listen to a record.

The attraction of a live concert is that surprises can happen on stage.

Really, almost every one of our concerts is a kind of blind date, as we play classical saxophone,

and this is new for a lot of people.

A date is a success if you want to see eacht other again. If you like the person

and he likes you, there's nothing you won't do to arrange a second meeting.

We might even swap phone numbers.

It was great, really great!

Terrific! I was delighted!

It was a blind date, after all: you don't know what to expect. As it turned out, it was a really great experience!

Fantastic! I was completely carried away!

When we came on stage, everyone had a smile on their faces -

they were probably expecting a string quartet and not four say players.

It was cool! It had a whole different kind of energy for me!

The Elbphilharmonie as a location is like having a blind date in a really good restaurant:

You know the evening can't go badly because the food is good. And you'll enjoy the evening,

even though you're meeting someone you wouldn't normally have met.

I find that totally exciting.

I certainly intend to go to a blind date when I have time.

Motion Capture] 8 potentiometers & 8 Servos (Arduino Humanoid Robot Project - CHOOM EP02) - Duration: 5:05.

In the previous video, we could control one servo motor by using one potentiometer.

In this video we are going to control 8 motors by using 8 potentiometer simultaneously.

Let's get started

First of all, we need to use some more parts.

Because the Arduino nano only has 6 PWM pins.

As you know, PWM is essential to control servo motors.

How can we solve this problem?

Here is the solution. I am going to use this PCA9675 board which has 16 PWM output.

The only thing we have to do is sending the signal to this board by using I2C communication.

You may feel it sounds hard but don't worry. There are so many pre-made source code files.

Actually, it is pretty simple.

This drawing shows its overall system.

I am going to make 8 cables for connecting the potentiometers and the Arduino board.

The cable I use is called Dupont cable.

I bought assembled cables. I will left the link in the below description.

Now, I am going to assemble all the parts together.

As I always say, we need to make sure the direction.

Like the previous video I used DuPont cables

And I slightly cut the end of the terminal so that it could be tight

Plug the cables like the video and glue it

put the servo motors one by one

Let's make the source code for this

Basically, the Arduino reads analog values, sends i2c data.

Once the PWM module receives the data, it generates PWM signal immediately.

Let's take a look into the source code. It is short and simple

The first line means that I will use a pre-made library to control the PWM board.

the second line means that I made an instance of the PWM driver

These two lines are for setting up the board

50 Hz is normally used for servo motors .

these three lines are most complicating code

Let's take a look into the setPWM function. It needs 3 parameters.

The first parameter is for selecting the servo number.

The Second and third parameters are for setting the timing of PWM.

If you don't understand it, just skip it. Just copy and paste the code and try it.

As you can see, I don't think it works well. What happened?

I took a look closely and found the problem.

ADC and I2C share the same pins.

So we can use it together

That's why I need to use one more Arduino.

One Arduino is for getting potentiometer's value, sending its value to another Arduino

through a serial communication.

Another Arduino is for operating the pwm driver based on the value from the communication.

Here is the idea about the communication

The Master Arduino sends number 255 as meaning that data is coming.

And then, sends id number.

For example, if the master sends the first potentiometer's value, the number will be 0.

And then, master sends its angle value which range is from 0 to 180

There are 2 source code files for each Arduinos

Upload the source code.

Okay, it was pretty well

Next video, I'm going to show how to communicate it without any wires

Wireless communication is so useful as you know

If you have any questions feel free left a comment on this video

Thank you for watching like and subscribe

See you next video. Bye
