Now we, in the more populated areas in the Philippines

know little something about long wanderings don't we?

Banilad man or EDSA, our traffic sucks

But if you must and if you have the means

Then the 2018 Honda Odyssey should be on your shortlist

Now, this minivan has transcended from what was once just

sucker mom's car to now "Hey, nice wheels"

Now, the exterior is based on Honda's solid streamline

which gives it a sedan-like stance and a 150mm of ground clearance

which makes it easier to enter and exit the vehicle

Especially for smaller children and senior citizens alike

Except maybe for when you're going over speed bumps in BGC

those really really tall ones? Thats like;

A large dark chrome grille is found upfront

followed by several slash for air intake all the way down to the chin

the front camera located here works in connection with

all the other cameras around the car to provide the driver a

360 degree view when parking or when it's activated for their advantage

Now, the DRL's, the headlamps and the foglamps

are all LED affair so is too the extra lamp found on either side

which activates anytime the driver turns the steering wheel

or put the indicators on giving them a better advantage of the road

its the small things

Power sliding doors can be found on either side and controlled

via the FOG. Now, Vincent over here has marveled about the

indentations found on the door and I tend to agree

I'm sure they're not there for aerodynamics

nothing as cool as the wingtips on the Honda Jet

But you gotta admit, they look great and they do add character

so do the 17-Inch tires

Now at the back, you got a very wide taillight configuration

for maximum visibility separated by well even more chrome

come to think of it there's so much chrome on this thing

you got it on the front grille, the front chin, the side skirts

underneath the windows, the rear chin, now back here

are there some on the roof? No, no naman

but there's so much chrome on this guy that it'll probably

make Lil Jon jealous

On a side note, that's the 8th take already because Vincent

wouldn't stop laughing

Sadly, no power tailgate, there's already 2 power doors upfront

1 more wouldn't have hurt, so that's a bit of a bummer

So too, is the 351L of space

Now, there's a lower bottom that can be found here but

the configuration is a little bit weird

However chucking a Maclaren stroller not a problem at all

a Graco stroller because of its bulkiness that might be a problem

depending on the leaning of the third row

but it is a 7-seater after all, that's not a second thought

it's a proper 7-seater and if you need more space, well check this out

and bob's your uncle

Now, I'm not even sure how to calculate how much space

there is back there but I'm pretty sure that you could fit a

fridge full of beer back there with an Oompa Loompa

See what I mean?

The first thing that greets you when you get to the Odyssey

is a very comfortable seat and instruments that rather mimic

the past Civic and CR-V's which is very familiar

right down to the Krispy Kreme speedometer

to the 7-Inch infotainment system, to the sunroof

and also, the touch sensitive air controls

There's also the gear lever, no buttons on this one

like the current CR-V which is well, maybe on the next update

visibility on the Odyssey is absolutely great

thanks largely to its massive windshield and huge windows

Also the quarter windows upfront are pretty big as well

Adding to the is that the side mirrors are not mounted to the pillars

but rather to the side of the car increasing driver visibility

There's so much light that comes in here you could probably

turn this place to a tanning salon and other people don't like it

I don't mind it but this center armrest

well it's big enough to play to beer pong on

In and out of the city, the electronic power steering

is a joy to operate, its light and nimble and it really doesn't feel like

you're driving a van that's 4.8m long and 1.8m wide

in fact, the paddle shifters on this thing might make you think that

its track ready although I would advice against that

just because diving fins are made out of kevlar doesn't mean

they can be use to stop a bullet

anyway it really does feel like a sedan

even though you're carrying a 1,851Kg

Now that weight is great stability but yup you guessed it

it doesn't go very well for fuel economy

Even with its Earth Dreams Technology, this 2.4 7-Speed CVT

gets 5.2km/l in the city and I'm talking about heavy traffic

with a Eco mode on and a start-stop function off

Sorry, just not a fan of that guy

On the highway we we're able to get 10.9km/l

Now, this engine probably performs better in the Accord

because that thing carries 309Kg less, that's 6 sacks of rice

or the combined weight of The Bigshow and the Undertaker

whichever pick works for you

However that being said, the Accord doesn't have Captain's chair

Welcome to Honda's modern suite room

some of the toys you'll find in here include a 9-Inch display

for your HDMI and DVD inputs, you got your air controls

located in the center, on either side 2 air vents per captain's chair

you got your privacy screen like so, you got 2 bottle holders per chair

one on the door and one right next to you and most importantly

the seats, decked out in leather and man are they subtle

and of course why not when you're in the mood

pop open the Ottoman

Very nice

Now at the moment we're driving around with the 3rd row seats up

Now if you we're to fold that guy down and position

your captain chair all the way to the back

you could have as much as 3ft of room in front of you

that's wider than the ledge of euphoria, Uy lumalabas yung edad

easily access because of the the space found in between

the 2 chairs of the second row leather continues all the way

to the very roomy 3rd row as well as the side curtain airbags

and airvents, you'll also find a 12V power outlet and a HDMI port back here

which I found a little bit odd. See, there is not HDMI port

for the 2nd row and you'd think they'd give that importance because

after all it is the captain's chairs. Again, its just the small things

Capable of moving 7 people in and out of the city or serve as an

executive's very large runabout. The Honda Odyssey EX-Navi

comes in at P2,433,000 now others out there might choose the EX

because it is after all P354,000 cheaper and it seats 8

However, you're already there, you're talking about a car that

already cost 2 million pesos and the difference is leather seats

captain's chair, power doors it may not be the difference between the

economy and first class, but its definitely business class

and that is no small thing

North Korea's Kim Yong-chol, U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo hold working dinner in NYC PART2 - Duration: 2:22.

North Korean leader Kim Kong-un's most-trusted aide Kim Yong-chol has had his first meeting

with U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo in New York... sitting down for dinner together.

It's unclear how much of the summit agenda was addressed, but its thought to be an informal

meeting to continue building trust, before more serious negotations take place on Thursday,

local time.

Lee Ji-won reports.

In New York late Wednesday, local time, U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo tweeted that

he had a "good" working dinner with the vice chairman of North Korea's ruling Workers'

Party's Central Committee, Kim Yong-chol.

Pompeo said the menu included steak, corn and cheese,... and posted two pictures from

the dinner.

One showed the two shaking hands, and the other was of them at the table.

Seated there also was Andrew Kim, chief of the Korean Mission Center at the CIA, a project

Pompeo set up when he was the spy agency's chief.

They met at 7 o'clock that evening at the Manhattan residence of the deputy ambassador

to the UN... and spent 90 minutes together.

Afterwards, Kim headed straight back to the Hilton hotel at One UN Plaza where he will

be staying for two days.

U.S. State Department said Kim and Pompeo will have all of Thursday, local time, for

their official meeting, starting at 9 a.m., but the venue has not been disclosed.

After the meeting, the State Department says, Pompeo is scheduled to hold a press briefing

at 15 past 2 in the afternoon, local time, at the Palace Hotel.

Kim and Pompeo's talking points have not been made public.

But it's widely believed they are putting the final touches on the agenda for the Pyongyang-Washington

summit -- how North Korea will denuclearize... and how the U.S. will guarantee the regime's

security.

Kim Yong-chol, who arrived at JFK International Airport earlier on Wednesday, is the most

senior North Korean official to step foot on U.S. soil in nearly 20 years.

To make his trip happen, he was granted a "sanctions travel waiver," as he's under U.S.

sanctions for his role in North Korea's nuclear program and other illicit activities.

While Kim Yong-chol and Pompeo are meeting for the third time,... watchers are keen to

find out if Kim Jong-un's right-hand man will visit Washington and meet with President Trump.

Plenty to be discussed by two Koreas at high-level talks - Duration: 2:10.

It's not just the U.S. talking with North Korea.

Tomorrow, high-level officials from South Korea will meet with their counterparts in

the first such talks since the inter-Korean summit back in April.

There are some potential joint projects on the table, most likely.

That's one of many things coming out of the Panmunjom Declaration that need to be discussed.

Oh Jung-hee has this report.

At the April inter-Korean summit, the leaders of Seoul and Pyongyang agreed to hold military

talks before the end of May with the aim of lowering tensions.

They also agreed to hold Red Cross talks as soon as possible on resuming family reunions

for families separated by the Korean War.

But the schedules of both these talks have already been delayed.

And that's why it's expected... that setting the dates of these talks will come above anything

else at Friday's high-level talks.

The date for the family reunions has already been fixed for August 15th... but it takes

two to three months to identify and register people wishing to meet their family members

from the other side of the border.

Also believed to be on the agenda is the two Koreas holding a joint event on major shared

dates -- the first date set is June 15th.

And as stipulated in the Panmunjom Declaration,...

Seoul and Pyongyang may also touch upon establishing a joint liaison office in the North Korean

city of Kaesong -- where officials from both South and North Korea will be stationed.

Meanwhile, with Seoul's vice minister of transport and Pyongyang's vice minister of railways

attending the meeting,... it's expected that they will discuss linking the existing railways

between the two Koreas.

In the Panmunjom Declaration, the two Koreas have agreed to connect and modernize railways

along the east coast as well as between Seoul and the North Korean city of Sinuiju.

The forming of joint teams for the Asian Games, held in Indonesia this August, seems to also

be on the table,... with the vice ministers of sports from South and North Korea both

taking part in Friday's talks.

And there's the possibility of forestation projects being brought up, as Seoul says the

vice minister of its Forest Service may also be at the meeting.

We now know a little bit more about that meeting between Kim and Pompeo Wednesday night in

New York.

It was over dinner... at the residence of Washington's deputy ambassador to the UN.

The Secretary of State tweeted afterwards that it was a "good working dinner," and he

posted a couple of pictures.

They had 90 minutes together, but the State Departments says on Thursday when they meet

again, they'll have all day, starting at 9 a.m., local time.

What they're going to talk about has not been released publicly, but it's expected to be

the agenda for President Trump and Kim Jong-un when they meet on June 12th.

We should hear from Pompeo by Thursday afternoon, since he's scheduled to hold a press briefing

at 2:15 p.m., Eastern Standard Time.

Kim-Trump summit expected to happen in Singapore on June 12: White House - Duration: 1:28.

The White House is still optimistic that the much-anticipated Pyongyang-Washington summit

will take place in Singapore as originally scheduled on June 12th.

Preparations are underway in several locations, including at the inter-Korean border village

of Panmunjom, another venue where the U.S. and North Korea have been meeting.

And CNN says the U.S. delegation were at Panmunjom again on Thursday... though their last scheduled

meeting was the day before.

Our Cha Sang-mi tells us more.

The White House expects the summit with North Korea will happen in Singapore on June 12th...

as originally scheduled.

Referring to the working-level talks between the North and the U.S. to prepare for a historic

summit between the two leaders,...

White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said Wednesday that the Trump administration

is continuing preparations to make the summit a reality.

"We're continuing to prepare for the meeting between the President and the North Korean

leader.

As the President says, if it happens, we'll certainly be ready."

Sanders also said an American delegation led by U.S. Ambassador to the Philippines, Sung

Kim, has been meeting with North Korean Vice Foreign Minister Choe Son-hui at the border

village of Panmunjom.

She said the meetings that have been held so far had been 'positive',... adding that

such momentum will be maintained.

Sanders also stressed the importance of discussing denuclearization ahead of President Trump's

meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.

GM Korea closes Gunsan plant for final time after 22 years in operation - Duration: 2:50.

GM Korea officially closed its plant in Gunsan today, ending two decades of production there.

The shutdown is part of the restructuring plan agreed upon by General Motors and the

South Korean government.

The company will be looking to bounce back, but the Gunsan-area economy might not recover

for a long time.

Oh Soo-young reports.

General Motors has closed one of its four plants in South Korea,... leaving an economic

vacuum in the western city of Gunsan.

The automaker's decision came in February as part of its corporate restructuring efforts,...

bringing the factory's 22-year history of car manufacturing to an end.

Of the factory's 18-hundred workers, most have taken voluntary retirement, 400 unpaid

leave -- while 200 are awaiting placements at GM Korea's three remaining plants.

However, the fallout of the shutdown is expected to be far-reaching.

Churning out some 270-thousand vehicles a year,... the factory accounted for half of

Gunsan's exports, and a third of total exports for the greater Jeollabuk-do Province.

The livelihoods of some twelve-thousand local workers, employed by 130 affiliates and subcontractors

that supplied auto parts to the factory, are on the line.

Other local businesses, including restaurants and real estate agencies, are also expected

to suffer due to the outflow of workers.

To mitigate the impact on the local economy, some 20 million U.S. dollars from the central

government's supplementary budget this year has been earmarked to support Gunsan's workers

and businesses.

The government plans to roll out employment support and take measures to attract new businesses

to the city.

Even so, experts doubt the region will ever be able to fill the gap left by GM's departure.

"0:00 There doesn't seem to be a large company that wants to move its operations to Gunsan...

0:27And I think part of the problem is that the region has become less attractive because

GM Korea's been there so long that I think Gunsan really didn't put much effort into

attracting other businesses."

However, the expert says the initial pain of structural reform may pay off eventually,...

leaving the region with a glint of light at the end of tunnel.

" They do have a lot of people who are familiar with how manufacturing works so there is some

human capital there that they can use.

They should have good road systems and if nothing else they have the large factories

that GM Korea used that they may be able to utilize elsewhere."

The expert also urged the authorities to act quickly as the plant is now shut for good,

and tens of thousands of local residents face an uncertain future.

Gimp 2.10: Magical Fantasy V - Duration: 17:07.

In this tutorial we are going to create magical fantasy image number V.

If you want to follow along, you can find the download link

for the images in the video description.

Go to file and click on new.

We will make a canvas with the default size of 1920:1080.

Just click okay.

Make sure that all the settings of Gimp are default.

Go again to file and now to open as layers.

Here we can search for our first image and open it.

Zoom out a bit by pressing the Ctrl key and rolling the mouse wheel towards you.

Activate the unified transform tool.

In the tool options we make the image opacity about 50.

Click in the image.

Click and drag the handles and the corners

to transform the image like so.

When we grab the corners, we must grab the square, but not the diamond in it.

When we grab the diamond, we change the perspective,

but for now we only want to scale and reposition the image.

We can click reset to start anew, but we can also click Ctrl+Z to undo the last step.

When we feel its okay, we can click transform.

Zoom in a bit by pressing the Ctrl key and rolling the mouse wheel away from you.

Right click on the layer and hit add layer mask.

Make it white (full opacity) and click add.

Activate the gradient tool in the toolbox.

Make sure you have the custom gradient, which goes from black to white.

With the reverse button we can change this direction.

Click and draw a line upwards.

We can grab the begin and or the end point, to make corrections.

We can also hover with the mouse over the line.

There will appear a third point which we can also move.

Hit enter on you keyboard to apply.

Back to file, click on open as layers,

search for the second image, and open it.

Right click on the layer and hit add alpha channel.

We are going to remove the sky.

Activate the fuzzy select tool.

Click on the second button of the mode, which is add to current selection.

Now we can click again and again in the sky

until we have selected the whole sky.

Click on select in the menu bar and then on feather.

We feather the selection with 5 pixels.

Click okay.

Go to edit and hit clear to remove the sky.

Go to select and hit none, to remove the selection lines.

Press Shift+T to activate the transform tool again.

Right away the framework pops up.

Scale the image and move it to the bottom of the canvas, like so.

Press enter to confirm.

Now we go to colors and hit brightness and contrast.

Reduce the brightness to its maximum.

This can be done with the slider,

but we can also click and hold somewhere in the image,

and then move the mouse pointer.

Up and down changes the brightness,

and left and right changes the contrast.

Then we click okay.

Go to filters, blur and gaussian blur.

Make the value for the X as well as the Y 1, and then click okay.

Time now, to open the image with the snow goose.

Go to file, open, search for the image and open it.

Right click on the layer and hit add alpha channel.

Press the U key to make the fuzzy select tool active again.

Click several times in the image until the whole sky is selected.

Then we go to select and click on grow.

We grow the selection with 1 pixel, and click okay.

Back to select and now to feather.

Here we can just click okay to feather the selection with 5 pixels.

Click on edit and hit clear, so the sky is removed.

Again to select and now to none, to deselect.

Click and drag the thumbnail of the goose image,

via the thumbnail of the project into the project.

Double click on the name and rename it snow goose.

Hit enter to confirm.

Now we press Shift+T to bring up the transform framework again.

Zoom out.

The image opacity is still 50 percent.

Notice that the layer itself is momentarily invisible.

Press and hold the shift key, so the proportions stay intact.

Then scale the image down, by grabbing the square.

This lights up yellow.

Let go of the shift key and move the image.

When you feel its okay, you can hit enter or click transform.

When the goose is in its place we are going to open the image of the girl.

Go to file, open and open the photo with the girl.

Right click on the layer and click on add alpha channel.

Here to we are going to remove the background.

Activate the selection tool of your choice.

I have chosen for the paths tool.

Zoom in and click the first node.

Then we can place the second node,

hold the left mouse button down and drag it out a bit

so we see the handle.

Now we make a curve and then we let go of the mouse.

Click and drag the handle back to its node.

Click the next node, hold the mouse, drag out the handle,

make a curve, release the mouse and place the handle back to its node.

And that is how the paths tool works.

With Ctrl+Z we can undo one or more steps.

When we press and hold the space bar, we can,

be moving the mouse without clicking, move the image.

We will go fast forward now.

When we are at the back of the dress,

we skip the outer part because of the background that shines through.

When we are close to the first node, we can hover over it,

press and hold the Ctrl key and when the little chain is visible,

we can click to close the path.

We can still make corrections, like so.

Press Ctrl+Shift+J to maximize the image in the window.

Now we click on the button selection from path, to make our selection.

Go to select and hit feather.

We feather the selection with 5 pixels and click okay.

Press Ctrl+I to invert the selection, so the background is selected.

Now go to edit and click clear, or hit the delete key.

This removes the background.

Then we drag and drop the thumbnail of the girl image,

via the thumbnail of our project, into our project.

Double click on the name and fill in girl.

Hit enter to confirm.

Press Shift+T to activate the unified transform tool again.

Press and hold the shift key to constrain the proportions when we scale.

With Ctrl+Z we can undo the last step.

Click in one of the squares in the corners, so the outline lights up yellow.

Scale the image down, like so.

Click and drag inside the image, to move it.

When we feel it is okay, we click on the transform button.

Activate the eraser tool.

Choose brush hardness 075.

Make the size about 10.

Erase parts of the dress like shown in the video.

Right click on the girl layer and hit alpha to selection.

Then press Ctrl+Shift+D to make a duplicate of this layer.

Double click on the name and rename it girl shadow.

Hit enter.

Make sure that black is your foreground color.

Then we can drag and drop this black into the image.

Make the opacity of this layer about 60.

Press Ctrl+Shift+A to deselect.

Then press Shift+E to make the eraser active again.

Make the opacity about 50.

Choose brush hardness 025.

Make the size about 50.

We can carefully erase parts of the face, the dress, arms, the knee and the foot.

Here to we can use Ctrl+Z to undo one or more previous steps.

When we think its enough, we right click on the girl shadow layer and hit merge down.

Now choose brush acrilyc 3.

Make the size about 10.

Now we can erase a bit of the leg of the girl,

to make it look like its in the fur of the goose.

Press the P key to make the paintbrush active.

Make the opacity about 20.

Choose brush hardness 25.

Make its size about 30.

Activate the snow goose layer.

Make just a little bit of shadow under the feet of the girl.

Hit Ctrl+shift+J again.

Now click on the girl layer.

Go to file again, and open as layers.

Select both goose images using the shift key, and open them.

Again, press Shift+T for the transform tool.

Move the image with one goose like so.

Press and hold the shift key and scale it down a bit.

Then click transform.

Make the layer with the tree geese active.

Click in the image to bring up the frame work of the transform tool.

Make this image also a bit smaller and move it to its proper position.

Hit transform again.

Right click on the top layer and hit merge down.

Go to colors, brightness and contrast.

Make the brightness about plus 60,

so all the geese become a bit lighter.

Click okay.

Then, by click and drag, we move the geese layer below the snow goose layer.

Make the snow goose layer active.

Press Ctrl+Shift+N to bring up the new layer dialog box.

Name it blue, make the fill type transparency and click okay.

Click on the foreground color of the foreground/background colors

to make the color palette visible.

Fill in the html notation 2 7 5 7 8 8.

Hit enter to see the blue color in the current old preview pane.

Now drag and drop this blue color into the image.

Then we can close the color palette.

We make the mode of this layer color (HSL).

The opacity should be about 60 to make the image, except the girl, a bit blueish.

Activate the girl layer.

Click on colors and then on color temperature.

Make the original color temperature about 9500.

Then click okay.

To finish off, we are going to create some snow.

Press Ctrl+Shift+N to open the new layer dialog box.

Name it snow, leave it at transparency and click okay.

Hit the P key again to make the paintbrush active.

Press the X key to swap the foreground/background colors.

We now have white as our foreground color.

Make the opacity 100.

Choose brush splats 01.

Make the size about 200.

Increase the spacing to about 100, to get a bit more space between the brush strokes.

Click on dynamics, scroll down and click on track direction.

This changes the direction of the brush while we use it.

Make long strokes over the image, like so.

Take care that you do not cover the face of the girl.

Go to the menu bar, click filters, blur and linear motion blur.

We make the length about 40.

Make the angle about minus 30 by turning the wheel or moving the slider.

When we click on split view, we can see before and after.

Satisfied?

Click okay.

Reduce the opacity to about 70.

And there it is, magical fantasy image number V.
