S. Korea looking into rescheduling of joint drills with U.S. during Olympics: source - Duration: 0:37.

The South Korean military is considering whether to reschedule joint drills with the U.S. next

March because they'll coincide with the Winter Olympics and Paralympics in Pyeongchang.

Government sources said Thursday that the military may consult with the U.S. to change

the date of the Key Resolve exercise, which is a computer-based wargame.

North Korea has long denounced the drills, calling them a rehearsal for a northward invasion.

Seoul is hoping Pyongyang will take part in the winter Olympics as a way to ease tensions

on the peninsula.

Regarding the drills, though, South Korea's presidential office says nothing has been

discussed or decided.

Freezing weather continues tomorrow with snow _ 112317 - Duration: 1:03.

Hello, I'm Michelle Park here with the weather update.

The temperature was above zero degrees during the day but it felt much colder due to the

sharp wind.

As of 6 p.m., all the college entrance exams have come to an end and the mercury is showing

1 degree Celsius,... but like I said, the windchill makes it feel much colder, and the

temperature is expected to drop through the night.

Along with this freezing weather,... snow is expected.

Southern Gyeonggi-do and northern Chungcheong-do provinces have been issued with heavy snow

alerts with up to 8 centimeters expected, while Seoul and the remaining regions can

expect between 1 to 5 centimeters.

It's going to be a slippery morning,... with Seoul starting the day at minus 3 degrees

Celsius, while Daegu and Busan begin at minus 2 degrees and 3 degrees.

Into the day, Seoul will rise up to 4 degrees, while Gwangju and Busan make it up to 10 and

12 degrees.

More snow awaits us this week, so be sure to stay updated with the weather.

South Korea-Uzbekistan bilateral summit takes place at Seoul's Blue House - Duration: 4:29.

South Korean President Moon Jae-in is hosting the president of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev

on this Thursday at the presidential Blue House.

The Uzbek president is on a four-day state visit to South Korea.

He and his wife landed in Seoul yesterday... and earlier today, received a grand welcome

from Korea's first couple.

For that and more, let's go live to our chief Blue House correspondent Moon Connyoung.

Connyoung, the Uzbek leader is the second foreign head of state to receive an invitation

for a state visit by President Moon.

Absolutely, Devin.

South Korea President Moon Jae-in rolled out the red carpet for his second state guest,

Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev... treating him to an elaborate welcome ceremony here

at the Blue House - yes, we saw the full package that we witnessed during U.S. President Donald

Trump's state visit earlier this month - with honor guards, national anthems, and children

from multicultural homes waving the two countries' flags.

According to the Blue House, President Mirziyoyev's state visit carries greater significance this

time in that this year marks 25 years of diplomatic relations between Seoul and Tashkent and 80

years since the settlement of ethnic Koreans in Central Asia.

This is the Uzbek president's first visit to South Korea although his wife, the First

Lady of Uzbekistan and his daughters have made inofficial visits here.

A sideline note...

President Mirziyoyev's daughter and her family used to live in South Korea a few years back

for about five years when his son-in-law was posted to the Seoul office of the Uzbek firm

that he works for.

So, their daughter apparently speaks Korean very well.

So, both professionally and personally, we're hearing that the Uzbek president is very interested

and familiar with this country, Devin.

I understand their bilateral summit came to a close a little while ago.

What kinds of agenda took centerstage during the talks?

Presidents Moon and Mirziyoyev sat down for their first bilateral summit after the welcome

ceremony this afternoon... and the two leaders did discuss ways to further enhance bilateral

ties and cooperation... both in quantity AND quality.

Presidents Moon and Mirziyoyev noted that over the past 25 years, South Korea and Uzbekistan

have built a strong relationship grounded in mutually-beneficial industrial endeavors

and a historical link between ethnic Korean peoples, but that strategic realities in both

countries have added further energy to the relationship.

Speaking of ethnic Koreans in Uzbekistan, I would like to make note that traveling with

the presidential delegation from the Uzbek side are four ethnic Koreans...

Concluding the summit, the two leaders signed a joint statement on comprehensive development

of the strategic partnership between South Korea and Uzbekistan which outlines efforts

to enhance their economic and trade cooperation, as well as

to boost exchanges in areas such as culture.

The Uzbek president also confirmed his support for President Moon's foreign policies including

the New Northern Policy... which is aimed at boosting South Korea's ties with Russia

and other Eurasian countries.

And, one final note: included in the joint statement is President Mirziyoyev's invitation

to President Moon to visit his country next year becoming the first foreign head of state

to make a state visit under his presidency.

Pres. Moon vows to expand economic cooperation with Uzbekistan - Duration: 2:04.

Throughout the day there was an emphasis on economic cooperation.

President Moon said Uzbekistan is key to his plans to work with Eurasia.

And he and President Mirziyoyev signed several MOUs and agreements to get that economic cooperation

going.

Hwang Hojun reports from the Blue House.

Economic cooperation was the name of the game.

President Moon Jae-in sent a congratulatory message to the Korea-Uzbekistan business forum

attended by his Uzbek counterpart President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

In his message, President Moon reiterated his "New Northern Policy,"... the administration's

plan to reinforce economic cooperation with Eurasian countries,... a concept first introduced

by President Moon when he visited Vladivostok in September.

Under the policy, Korea would establish a new economic cooperation committee with Russia

and Central Asian nations,... and pursue joint projects with Eurasia in various areas including

the economic, transportation and energy sectors.

President Moon said in his message that he considers Uzbekistan the center of the plan,

as a key nation in Central Asia.

President Moon's efforts to expand economic cooperation with Uzbekistan were in the two

leaders' signing of key agreements and MOUs shortly after their summit meeting Thursday

afternoon.

Under the agreement, Korea will provide Uzbekistan with financial support worth up to 2.5 billion

U.S. dollars.

This will include a 500 million-dollar-loan as a part of the official Economic Development

Cooperation Fund for the next three years, starting in 2018.

And according to the Blue House, the agreement will be a key opportunity for Korean companies

to enter the Uzbek market.... and to take part in Uzbekistan's new economic, social,

and infrastructure development projects.

Moreover, Korea also agreed to support Uzbekistan's entry into the World Trade Organization, and

to increase cultural exchanges to boost bilateral relations.

(STANDUP) The two leaders agreed to further cultivate

a mutually strategic and cooperative relationship.

And that promises to give President Moon's "New Northern Policy" new momentum for the

years to come.

In today's video I will share with you an awesome hair mask which will require only 3 ingredients.

For a few days many of my viewers were telling me that their hair is getting dry and damaged

so I should share with them a few hair mask recipe which will make their hair silky, smooth and frizz free.

This is an awesome hair mask because before applying it my hair was looking dry and damaged

and after applying it my hair became more manageable. So I feel you guys will like this hair mask very much.

So without wasting time let's see how to make this hair mask and how to apply it

For making this mask first of all I am taking 200mg of curd.

Then I am using a Muslin cloth to strain out the excess water from the curd

Curd has a lot of protein which will provide a lot of nourishment to our hair and will make it healthy.

Curd also has lactic acid which removes dead skin cells from our scalp

which will help in reducing dandruffs as well.

We have strained the curd so that the excess water can be removed,

which will make the curd a lot thicker in density

The hair pack which will be made from it will also be thick and consistent

and will be easy while applying to our hair without causing a mess

After this we need Mayonnaise.

I am adding 3 tablespoon of Mayonnaise to the curd.

You can easily get Mayonnaise in any departmental store

Now thoroughly mix the Mayonnaise with the curd

Mayonnaise has amino acids and fatty acids in ample quantities,

which deeply nourishes your hair,

also it helps to fight dandruff

and also nourishes your split ends.

After this we need a Beetroot.

Thoroughly grate the beetroot and take out its juice

After this add Beetroot juice

to the mixture and mix the 3 ingredients properly.

Add at least 2-3 teaspoon of beetroot juice to it

and mix the ingredients

Now divide your hair in 2 parts

and apply this pink looking hair mask to all of your hair from root to tip.

Beetroot has carotenoids,

which boosts the blood circulation in our scalp.

It also nourishes our hair follicles which boosts hair growth

Beetroot provides a lot of important nutrients which prevents hair loss,

it has Vitamin C, Vitamin B6, Iron, Potassium and Manganese

After applying leave the hair mask for 45 mins to 60 mins

and after that use shampoo to wash your hair properly

You can see

how my hair is now looking more shinny,

smooth and manageable than before.

S. Korea commemorates those killed by N. Korea's artillery attack on Yeonpyeong-do Island - Duration: 2:19.

Seven years ago today,... North Korea fired artillery shells at the South Korean island

of Yeonpyeong-do near the western sea border,... killing two marines and two residents.

South Korea's Marine Corps held a ceremony to commemorate the two young men who died

serving their country.

Oh Jung-hee files this report from Daejeon.

Placing flowers and paying tribute to the two loved sons, friends, and comrades...

November 23rd is a solemn day for South Korean citizens.

It was on this day, seven years ago, that North Korea bombarded South Korea's Yeonpyeong-do

Island.

Over 200 people gathered at Daejeon National Cemetery on Thursday for a commemoration ceremony,...

and heavy snowfall added to the somber atmosphere.

(Korean) "It's already seven years ago, but I remember

that day was very cold just like today.

Today we miss and pay respect to the two soldiers who died while carrying out their duty.

I hope the whole nation remembers them with one heart."

On November 23rd, 2010,... North Korea fired 170 artillery shells at South Korea's Yeonpyeong-do

Island,... located south of the Northern Limit Line, and 110 kilometers west of the capital

Seoul.

The attack left two soldiers and two residents dead, and 16 injured.

It also damaged military facilities and civilian structures.

(Stand-up) "Seven years have passed... but the bombardment

of Yeonpyeong-do Island is still vividly recollected and is seen as one of the worst inter-Korean

clashes after the Korean War."

The Marine Corps honored the brave deeds of the soldiers who fought this tough battle

against North Korea,... and promised to secure peace for the South Korean people.

(Korean) "Still, North Korea is raising tensions with

its unpredictable provocations and continuous nuclear and missile tests.

We, the Marine Corps, are well aware of the security situation,... and are maintaining

the highest level of military readiness to protect South Korea and the northwestern islands."

To remember this day, the Marine Corps also held a special drill on Thursday afternoon,...

at the exact time when North Korea launched the attack on Yeonpyeong-do Island.
